    as good as new , which it never can be so mint shouldnt be used unless something is 2nd hand but has never been used most people by mint mean in good condition , no rips ,tears or bolster wear

    done the front ball joint and it was simple to do, i didnt even need a splitter, it felt good when i tested it (mot style) yet when i got it off it was goosed , easy job £19 from vag

    cata, just behind the speakers , i dynamatted the doors and then put neoprene pads over that

    i liked the mk1 but mk2 was a better car as VR6 South, says , good strong engines , must be classics soon as are the mk1 rs turbo's

    see the big empty water bottle behind the drivers seat ! always be suspicious of cars carrying lots of water and it looks like a shed :-) any mods to declare ? - yes my car looks a tw@t :-)

    pull the speed control knob off and clean the copper strip on the panel and on the knob with some fine emery paper , might just be a dirty contact

    check the connection on the rear of the mirror they often corrode , maybe fixable but they arent easy to get out in one piece :-(
