  1. god I hate that 'driveline loss' statement.

What about the other advantages? massive grip in all directions, better suspension setup on the rear etc etc.

Also Phats mk4 r32 had driveline losses of 38 bhp at stealth. Where as haywires was somewhere in the region of 45bhp? (correct me if I am wrong there kev). Although haldex was unplugged its still spinning the transferbox and the prop and the haldex clutch plates.

Heres one I did last week.

I also have a custom stabiliser bar (dog bone) as the mk4 one is a] rubbish and b] too long. Pictures to follow

Dutch, seeing as you are getting the cats it would probablies make sense to get a 24v down pipe and use mk4 mounts? then you have the complete exhaust right back to the back seats.

I put mine in a day, albiet I I was replicating my yellow car.

  3. yes the probes monitor each bank of three cylinders.

In theory its possible to no have cats and just fit the rear probes in air somewhere (dangling) as the rear probes just check to see if the cats have cleaned the mixture up properly. they are effectively a switch. so being in fresh air would make them all clean and happy (unless you drove around middlesbrough lol  )

  4. is yours climattronic or just aircon?

do you set the temp and it maintains it?

I would imagine it wouldnt be too hard to mount, the corrado vents marry up to the mk4 climate airbox perfectly so I would have though the mk3 gear would be fine.

I Have my dash out now so you are welcome to come and have a look about. bring your airbox down and you can trial fit it.
