  1. You were lucky mate.. How did the car go like? if it's only 1 tooth out not a lot happens, it's when you miss two or more that the shafts bind and you risk destroying the charger.
  2. OT.. Bhav, Has the foglamp landed yet? I'm surprised Chris hasn't got a foglamp??
  3. AFAIR, (it's been a few years since i opened one now) I seem to remember that both cogged pulley's notchs or 'V's should both point strait up. If the shafts bind, DO NOT start the car as you may blow the top of the charger up..
  4. And a quick thanks to _Monkey who sold me some parts that are spot on, Excellent seller!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. AFAIR All Vr eqiupped corrados had 02A gearboxs mate, i don't think the 02J even existed in the early/mid nineties, until the B4 passat. All 02A 'boxs had drive flanges that are a thump in type with circlip, all the other versions are bolt in and also have bigger diff. oil seals compared to the 02A's ones. Who did you order the lsd from?

    Late fog lights

Sorry Rob, just noticed this now! That's great matey, let me know how you get on. Cheers.
  7. I bought a new Peloquin years ago and fitted it myself, no problem. The kit was all complete, including all the ness. Hardware, bolts, new diff. bearings and aluminum Speedo drive already fitted. The most tedious bit is actually changing the bearing races inside the gearbox and setting the pre-load, if needed. If you get stuck or require any assistance regarding the diff, just email Gary Peloquin in the states, great guy and very helpful as well as making an excellent product that carries a lifetime guarantee too..

Bit more info. Needed mate, Vr6, G60 or valver engines? A/C or non A/C equipped? Cheers.
  9. Just buy My Corrado arb complete with droplinks included! Off a '92 vr Corrado with only 19.000km on the clock..
  10. I was thinking the same thing.. I'm 99% sure that they are both the same, no need to change anything really, unlike the steering rack. There's a number on the frame that i'll photo and we can tell if there are any differences by the photos. Now all i have to do is unwrap the bloody thing..again.
  11. I've got one mate, off a car that had only done 19.000km's.. Comes with anti-roll bar etc too. Send me your email and i'll send you a load of photos, after i've unwrapped it again due to timewasters.. cheers-Andrew.
  12. Give me till tomorrow morning mate, i'll check down in the lock-up and let you know. Could you give me your email? I could get you a few photos sent directly off my phone. Out of couriosity, what's wrong with your fogs?

Welcome aboard matey! If you need any spares, let me know. Cheers-Andrew.
  14. Nothing mate, i've only Got valver one's with red needles and, of coarse with me being in Italy, they are in km/h and not mph.. What's wrong with your set? Might be something simple to change?
  15. Let me check tomorrow morning mate, I'm sure there's a set down in the garage.. Send me your email and I'll be you a few photos. Cheers-Andrew.
  16. Always a good idea to add one on, i never liked the piece of shiyte original system.. G60/vr/16v, all with the same setup that could one day rupture and mix oil with water, possibly writing off the engine.
  17. Get the g-lader belts off eBay. I'm in the same position as you you mate, my corrado has been sitting, garaged since '09.. Not 20 years but quite a while regardless. My engine doesn't have the G60 charger anymore as I turboed it ages ago but the same principles apply. As said before, charger belt but, just as important, the timing belt needs to be changed too, full service including the fuel filter and drain the old fuel, be like paraffin now.. It'd be absolutely ideal if you could remove the distributed and spin the oil pump over with a drill and modified oil drive gear, in place of the skew gear drive in the block, that way oil pressure would be instant the moment the engine fires. New coolant and a new serp. belt and i reckon your good to go. Don't forget to replace all the small vacuum pipes too.
  18. Chris, Can you sort Robert out with any inner bumper irons you may have mate? I only have 1 set but they are bent and damaged.. Cheers.
  19. I did mine about 10 years ago now, luckily at the time I had use of a massive land lot with big sheds. I stripped 3 corrados there and made 1 good one, the one I have now that's been sitting virtually ever since.. All depends on the condition of your car, lots of rust? Dents? The biggest pain I all the prep work, sanding and preparing, masking up etc. How are you gonna match the paint shade? What paint are you gonna use (2K is definitely out of the question) what kind of work conditions? How are you gonna avoid dust and dirt sticking to the freshly painted surfaces?? Go for it though, just plan it out first and know your limitations.
  20. I've got one mate, if you send me your email, i'll get you a few photos.

    Late fog lights

Sure have Pog. Jame's corrado is a later version Pog, yours is an early so they are totally different mate.. Same applys to your early foglamp though, they are glued in with an adesive that's like cement to remove and weren't designed to be removed easily.. I do have a few early foglamps though. Let me know if you need photos.. Cheers-Andrew.
