A bit noisy but nothing too intrusive. The only problem I had was if I was low on fuel, the pump would sometimes suck up air, especially going up hills or the ramp out of my lock up. Simple answer here, always bung in half a tank of fuel..

Bloody turbo corrados, I know one or two things about them.. Get shot of the crap Walbro pump and fit a proper Bosch 044 item in its place, I retro fitted one inside my turboed g60 pump housing, miles more reliable than the rubbish Walbro.. Have you got a spark?

Pull the thing out, put it in a vice and oil the inner Cable, gravity will take care of the oil, normally works fine, unless on of the cable strands has snapped.. Then I'll sell you a good spare cable..

Take off door panel and see if 12v is reaching the Motor by using a test light. Could be a broken wire in the look that bends every time you open the door, they do break within their insulation. Faulty switch Unit, rare but can happen. Buggered relè..

Righto Rob, Last one left mate, also got a very good inner reflector too. Have a peek at your one and let me know if it's rusty or marked. Send me your email and I'll get you a few photos mate.

As long as you have the proper versions with the red manual adjuster knob I think you'll be fine. You may need the white plastic connectors that snap into the reflector, if they aren't already there. Remove your old, broken ones and roughly match the thread length to the electric motorized ones, then whilst in the car with the dipped beams on, fine tune the height using the manual adjuster, or get the MOT dude ti do it whilst the car is in. Be careful though, the motors only have a limited amount of adjustment, if you go beyond the range, the spindle detaches itself inside the housing, great fun repairing the buggers, trust me I've done loads..

What's wrong with your electric ones? I think that your going to find it a challenge to get manual units..I've never even seen them! I personaly think you'd be ruining your car mate.. manual winders are a pain in the arse. I've got a set of complete electric window mechanisms..

And when you need bits, look me up matey..

Impossible to remove the adjusters, they just crumble to bits.. New ones, if you can find any, will probably do the same too because the plastic is now very old and brittle. I convert the headlamps to electric motors that also have manual adjusters too. Let me know if you need a set and the two plastic clips that snap into the reflector. Cheers.

Nah, no faith on my part,I just work in a church in the center of Rome! Anglican one too. The security was ok i suppose, if somebody REALLY wanted to attempt something they could have.. At least I got my 2 year old daughter kissed and blessed by the main dude himself! For me it was just three days of 9/10 you shifts.. Stress levels were high too. First time in history that a pope has ever visited an Anglican church in Rome though.

Not terribly, Time the engine, pistons 1-4 up on firing stroke, remove the complete air cleaner, cambelt cover, loosen cambelt and remove it off the toothed pulleys, loosen the jackshafts' retaining bolt, after locking it using either a strap wrench or screwdriver jammed in one of the pulley's holes, remove pulley, unbolt seal retainer (2 13mm bolts), bash out old seal, insert the new one. Now reverse the procedure and refit it all again.
