I think it's fairly difficult to get a consistent figure out of a G60 because of heatsoak etc on the charger and the IC....
-
I like the way the front grill and headlights remain intact with the mangled car around them...
-
Sheeet! - main thing is your ok tho mate!
-
Just don't start looking at the reflection as you drive past shops with glass windows!!
-
...Just to keep the salt off the Corrado over the winter?
-
:( Don't know what happened, I even checked the oil etc before I set off and made sure she was up to temperature before giving it some.... Then all of a sudden BANG!! I'm going to call Jabba on monday but i'm not sure they'll honour my warranty as i'm not running it on a PG engine :? Plus the grass was quite long and a bit wet...

If Kev had stars relating to the amount of posts he makes there wouldn't be room for his avatar!

You'll need to know the offset and if the hub size is the standard VW...
-
Can you not push it out in neutral?
-
Yeah, most VR's and G60's will now be owned by enthusiasts and becasue of age will need alot of cash spending on them so they are more likely to be held onto... It would be nice to see how many there were originally of each of the 5 models and compare that to now...
-
Louie Lungbubble, nice one
-
Right behind the front grill, there are two
-
Ford, I think you've uploaded the wrong picture - thats Dinkus's Corrado...
-
I heard there were more G60's than VR's but its hard to say... I see similar numbers...
-
Just to remind people what the NSX looks like...
-
Deffinetly a good idea!
-
I think it was roughly 9,000 into the UK and about 4,000 of those were G60's
-
Are you mad! :?
-
Yeah, its bullshit! - Henny, the bodyshop said the book value of mine was £2,700 with average mileage and as mine is less than 100k they said it would be worth at least 3k which roughly agrees with the VW dealer free valuation earlier this year of £3,300 which was what I paid for the a year before that! - mine also being a 92 J plate. I take it they based there figure on a high mileage then? - If thats the case thats rubbish too as yo can't base the value of 10 year old+ car on that!
-
Was in my mates Type R last night, first time I've been in one since I had a test drive when they first came out... There a nice car, feels quick and I like the drive and the gearshift but all I can say is its no Corrado...
-
Yeah, I'd agree with that... maybe get a late shell from a valver and build a M/N reg G60??? 8) I think its time to try and turn a negative into a positive... Real bad luck anyway mate but at least you have the capabilitys to transfer all the bits over to another shell and you could practically make it a new car if yo wanted to... Are they just not honouring your agreed value then??? :| At least you got to drive it for a bit mate and you know the potential it had!

Me too - even if the write it off tho Henny you'll fix it anyways surely??? Mine got run into a week or so ago (I didn't put it up on here) and altho it doesn't look much and its still drivable, the quote I have is nearly a grand plus parts (new bumper, badges and maybe exhaust) at MRP... and they've confirmed it will be fixed... :? Hope it gets sorted mate and soon!!

Sorry - the other thread just made me laugh!
