I was going to say - the dealers only sell Quantum these days... either get Bosch from Halfords (they don't sell the G60 specific ones but ones for a mk2 8v GTi fit fine or for not much more cash get the Blue Igniters from C&R - Lifetime warranty

B&Q... GSF - same old! :lol: Seriously tho Mat - B&Q sell roofing felt which is like diet dynamat and much cheaper than the real thing - come in rolls and is self adhesive! You will need to find a haberdashery (spelling?) for sticky back felt - it does exist....

Probably the leads then - go out on a damp night and look for 'fireworks' under the bonnet... Keep changing all servicing parts (filters etc) until you've done them al! - It's quite likely that the fuel filter is orininal!

Yep, take it back and keep doing so until your happy! - These systems are meant to be custom fit for the vehicle so should fit as well as OEM, at the end of the day its not rocket science! I watched Milltek spend 6 hours trying to refit one of there own systems to Kev's car down at their factory, they finally got a good fit with no knocking when they moved the bar on the backbox 2 inches like we told them when we arrived... complete muppets!

Got to agree with Jim, Its the only way they'll learn! - The police just let them off or if it goes to court they end up getting a free holiday to spain as part of a new government scheme or something... The VR's don't have the type that you can replace the regulator easily... New ones are about £100 exchange from VW depending on weather you have the 70 or 90A one....
