Massive instability under braking & spin. Oh dear.

camber manhole cover white lines the brakes on the back hardly ever lock up in my experience - if your fronts locked up - physics dictate on a right hander the back would have shifted to your left. If however you weren't turning that much and you "were" going some - you open another debate about the state of your brake setup at the front. hth imo -
btw the downforce that large spoiler at the back probably slows you down as well - not to mention all the weight of all that extra "plastique". just a thought but if all the world dressed and spoke the same - t'would be very boring "feel it - do it - f@ck it"

[quote Hey i know Dedworth. Dedworth is rough - I used to live near Blockbusters - and it was scooter and doughnut action all night by the R5/Nova/Corsa/Fiesta crew all the time. I had to get out when they started setting fire to buildings and sitting on my "other" car.
-

I just moved from Windsor - I was in the ghetto known as Dedworth. And I seem to have just bought the same car as you . . . . A Thames Valley C meet would be good - my mate has just bought a Valve C and he is Maidenhead.

I think the paint work should just be touched up - that image on the front is priceless. I mean c'mon - would you eat a burger from him? :¬P -
I was in Cardiff this year for the Coca Cola Championship Play off finals - when I spotted this gem of a jamjar. I'd thought I'd share it with the group. What do you lot think? Next project car perhaps? Fit it with a 1.8t 20v for real fast food action?

is that true? SOURCE or LINK please . . . .[/quote:ce1f7] You haven't noticed it? My VR does it. Mate's 328i does it. Every car I've ever seen started from cold smells of fuel for a short while (to varying degrees). You try walking off a business park in the afternoon. Every big executive saloon that comes past whiffs of petrol.. And it's obvious from the MPG calculations that it's heinously inefficient from cold starts. This is a well known truism.[/quote:ce1f7] just bearing in mind what your signature says . . . . . . I had to question -but mine does have a slight whiff of fuel in the am.
