My best of show wax hasn't yet arrived but as it was delayed my Swissvax Suppiler (John Wintle - West Sussex) lent me his gear to allow me to get clean for the weekend. Hows that for customer satisfaction ? Totally recomended by me. Anyway i washed the car then use the cleaner fluid and the onyx wax on the thursday then on the sunday just rinsed and used a quick detailer and here's the result. Thank you very much John for helping me out and ill be back for many more products as the service i recieved was second to none! Darren. If anyone wants some great cleaning products with an even better customer service John comes with my full recomendation!

That looks like a BBM outlet on yours flusted,

Turn the Sandwich plate so that the outlets are facing the water pump and your clearance issues are solved

Around 42mm off the top of my head. I can confirm this tomorrow when im back down south.

Definatly sounds like the water pump pulley to me. I think you may have found your problem, New water pump time

The Crank pulley should not turn freely as you are turning the whole engine over. Are you sure you aren't talking about the waterpump pulley ? This sounds a more probable cause for your grinding/rumbling noises

What noises are being made when you turn it over by hand ?

What happens when it rains into your cone filter through the Panda bonnet vent ?

Do nothing. Stock air filter in the stock box. You may loose 1hp max but i think i would much rather save my supercharger from the grit ALL aftermarket filters seem to allow through .

Are you going for AIR on this one ?

kev's correct the box will need a tweak to allow fitment

The Timing procedure on a G60 is the same as any Digifant VW. Any good specialist in your area should be able to check this out for you to put your mind at rest.

What ARF are you running A, @ part Throttle & B, On Boost ? I think you title of this thread is misleading when you have many other possibilties that could be wrong before blaming the Eprom
