Mate, if you have it done properly then it shouldnt crack, especially with the right paint on it. Shouldn't cost you much more than 50 quid really.

Nope. *chav* I think they wont fit, but the pisshat ones do ?[/quote:073a3] I'm no fockin chav meht innit, ya fockin clart innit! I'll kick ya fockin ead in if ya say dat again innit. Tbh, I just think they look better than the plastic ones (which I don't actually have on there, they've both been unscrewed. So, Pissrat chrome handles fit then?

Does anyone know of some half-decent looking Aluminium/Chrome door pins? I have seen the Richbrook ones on the bay, but don't really like them. The only other ones on ebay were from the US, but they were quite nice. Also - the chrome interior door handles from a mk3 - can you still get them from the dealer?
-
Why? Might only be a stupid little problem, someone off here would probably buy it before you went to the extent of breaking it.

Thread resurrected - AGAIN! Just wondering if the general opinion is that the standard cam is the best option?
-
AFAIK it's just to finelyadjust the cam timing.

Thanks Search dude. :D I preferred your traffic warden pic tbh ;)

Late electric window switches to an early car, or do I have to change the whole loom?
-
The 1.4 16v Polos are very nippy, 100bhp in a small light car...
-
Doubtful, Mercs are big and fat and made of old tanks.
-
The truth is so much more boring than all of these! lol! Conleycrew - funny, but so so sick!! lol! 16v - I actually found 1.07 (i don't have a pound sign on my keybaord) underneath the carpets! Billinjah - I have heated leather already - I just need the loom! Sciroccotune - I think it has always had the seat hump yeah as it's an early car, just with a late leather interior - i dunno. Why do you ask? Triggermyson - Yeah, to go with my perspex bonnet vent - it's proper innit meht. This isn't the reason, but I was tempted to leave the interior out, bolt my mate's bucket seat in from his Evo 2, and also add these little bits and pieces... Like I said that's not why it's all out but it was so tempting!
-
I would tell you the answer, but there are a few funny answer so I'll leave it for now!! And as for only a G60...pah!
-
Any ideas why?

Apart from the shinyness, will I see any real-world benefits to having one fitted? Cheers...

This is what is leaking, and now I have bought a clutch (which is LUK by the way - is that any good compared to the OE one?) I will be replacing the seal. Problem is, if you go to VAG you can no longer buy just the seal, you have to buy the flange that goes with it as well - which means taking the sump off and everything I'm told. This seems stupid to me as they have discontinued the seal itself which is why you have to buy the complete flange. Has anyone else come across this before, or had to buy the whole flange (at a price of 73 quid!)? I ended up getting a seal from GSF in the end.

Has anyone else had this break? It's the part that actually clips the metal part of the bonnet pull onto the bonnet release handle. Mine went the other day, just wondered if it was a common part to snap?

I'm gonna smooth out the swage line on the rear three quarter aboce the skirts, should look well good
-
I like the Merc better, it's pimpalicious.
-
Don't buy a set, do it yourself with a soldering iron and some LED's, easy.
-
Dunno, it's a difficult one to price up. Go down there and kill them. In the face. Lots.
-
Nah, it's a sump, who's gonna see it?

He's at audioscape more or less every day!
