Personally not keen on Continental tyres, (or Michelin either) but it's all down to preference.
-
I want to know too....Help us!
-
Thats some uber cool hair.
-
How? Not heard of that before?
-
Nah. Might have to buy them. Bugger. Next winter then!
-
Lol, trust you to bring this topic down into the gutter Dinkus, I call for you to be banned. Again. ;) Cheers mate, I'll have an ask around and put a wanted ad up later, heated seats is a cool little gimmick!
-
I'd prefer it if you paid me 149.99 (no pound sign on my keyboard - :S) and I pissed on myself...I'm not into watersports. I'll take 150 quid for being humiliated slightly...
-
I see you say they are specific not generic Gixxer, but is there any other way of doing it except making my own loom? I might go put a wanted ad up for all of it, see what comes up, but I'm not paying nearly 150 quid on relays and a switch just so i can feel like I've wet myself.

There are a load of wires and possibly a connector under my seat (only had a quick look after my mechanic mate showed me and its dark now so I'm not taking the seats out) - could these possibly be fore heated seats? My interior is a Leather one, allegedly from a Storm. What should the connectors look like, how can I check for sure, and is it an ass to wire in? Cheers.
-
I completely disagree Gixxer, I think they would look awful on Greeny's car, but would look tremendous on mine.
-
Probably pointing at the floor Seat style or side exit.
-
The whole lot mate, 65 quid from VAG too. And it's a bit of a mare to fit!
-
Yeah it is meant to illuminate - I haven't wired them up yet, plus it doesnt match the Dash colours. To be honest they look a little cheap and are bodged on with silicone so I may rip them off and get some proper ones.

Dunno how many of you knew I had a misfire, and that generally I thought the engine was on its way out - the previous owner had cracked a piston a while back, and I thought the rings were going. Well, turns out that after replacing the dizzy cap, rotor arm and the coil, the misfire has been fixed! It was the coil in the end - so sometimes it IS the 30 quid (or in my case used - and free!) part that's the problem! I'm really happy I got it fixed finally, and happy that I don't have to worry about the engine going pop sometime soon - and without the misfire (it was only at high revs - so obviouslly when it wanted to draw more charge from the coil) it absolutely flies, especially through 3rd and fourth, where it used to struggle to pull through the gears. I'm loving it even more now. Thanks in part have to go to PhatVR6 for suggesting I tried replacing the coil - it was on my mind already but it was his comment that made me do it.... Can I have some Champagne now please?

I was merely stating a fact Dinkus! ;) Its down to you to put your own meaning to the comment, which you obviously did - your filthy mind disgusts me. I call for him to be banned! :D

Couple more I have in my collection, then I'm done...for now!

OK, in my currently hungover state thought it was about time to try and get up all the good pictures I have of my car and have a proper gallery/pictures thread thing. So here goes! Mentioned in my first post that my gear linkage had broken - the first pictures show what snapped, and how we tried to bodge it to last the weekend- it lasted 5 miles. Whilst we were trying to fix it, I moved the outside temp sensor next to my filter so I could get a rough idea of my inlet temps. The rest are just some of the better pictures I have of the car. Sorry about the huge post!

Haha, my girlfriend got it on her face! The back seat was covered in mud too, only wiped it off yesterday - so glad I have leather! Wipe clean...
-
Not the best pictures, but you get the general idea ;)
-
Dunno if you can get any which replace the whole trim but I'm sure you can get some that you screw to the trim, or there are univeral ones. Personally I'm not keen on guages there as they restrict the view, and that just annoys me, just a personal opinion though.

Watch my videos - you can hear how loud it is!

I'd prefer a Bahn Brenner charger though....

TMT McCoy's 'Coupe...More of the usual page 10
Ronan replied to TMT McCoy's topic in Members Gallery
That's stunning. The only bit I don't like is the interior - but to be fair I don't really like Cream/Beige interiors anyway - that's just my own taste. Aoart from that, I think the car is absolutely stunning. How much has it cost you so far? -
Mine's not farty when I give it some, it's raspy as hell, it sounds like a rally car really, well, I like to think so. I only asked as I wondered if anyone elses was a bit farty on idle. Here's a couple of (very) short videos of what mine sound like: Video 1 Video 2 Oh, and the noise of the Charger? I love it, it can be slightly annoying round town etc - but I can live with it!

I was under the impression that Mille Miglia have gone bust in the UK...
