If you can afford to spend 200 quid then you can get a full set of Yoko A539's from wheelbase direct, they have a special offer on and while i know that is more than you want to spend, it is a bargain for 4 tyres.

The UK cars comes with a leather & a different engine the jap car comes with cloth & different lump.. as I said fitted a blitz supercharger kit to the engine... Oops. I missed the s/c bit. They're meant to be a bit sluggish as standard so yours should be quite tasty. Do they handle? Looks stealth too.

I nearly bought an RX7 last year. Test drove a few, very very nice cars. Amazing brakes on them, but its a shame that the engine can go pop. Best to get one thats done over 60k and had a rebuild, that way you know it (probably) won't go pop. Also, you know theres only three moving parts in a rotary engine? That statement could be blatently false, but it's what I've been told ;) lol

Get the S3 engine, will leave you money for fitting and maybe some new brakes too. Or, like some have said, a 16vG60, would be well within you rbudget, and could even get a different charger on there. Another option would be to charge your current engine. This could give some of the beter results as 4k is a good amount of money for building an engine. Internals would cost you, lets say a grand, considering you can get pistons custm made for around 100 quid each, get new rods and get the crank seen too, and everything lightened/balanced. Get all the headwork done etc, and a nice big blower, well, who knows what power you could be kicking out then?
