    Front wings

I second that comment been looking for ages
  3. Anna, I don't suppose that Heritage would consider doing reproduction wings by any chance.
  4. Strangely; not the Corrado but my Skoda VRS and Audi TTS are coming up for renewal and having been with Admiral for 10 years last year I had to switch to Aviva, this year they quoted 486 for both, A plan got them for 453.04 add a £50 M&S voucher so technically 403.04, the lad Richard was great, pleasant and very efficient and as companies are generally pathetic to customers now days, I'm going to give them a go. Like all this Insurance, unfortunately you don't find out how good they are until you crash. I also spoke to him about my Corrado and I'll be trying them again when that ends
  5. Thanks Dox. I know what I can go for now.
  6. Could someone inform me when did the Corrado go to the late model, so I know which front wings to get as replacements.
  7. today's pictures Front end this time getting stripped and fixed:
  8. Could I get the darkest one please. Pm me price with postal please. I thank you from the bottom of my heart; absolutely gutted driving home from work to find when I got home the lights hanging down and the piece lost on the A360 forever.
  9. Thank you will wait on those, pm me with price
  10. You are just a little bit. I'll bare you in mind should it prove a problem. I haven't have a European tour for a while. With summer coming up well, it could be grand lol
  11. I've put up another thread asking for the bits I need to restore him to his former glory but if you can find said bit and give me a price for posted and packaging to North Wales; it would be much appreciated
  12. Coolio, How much would you want posted to North Wales. As long as it is solid then I am happy
  13. Well if you have seen my thread http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?94704-My-Purple-Passion then you will know that my beloved original Corrado is having a full refurb but I need the following body panels: NSF Wing OSF Wing Rear metal plate that holds the rear number plate lights in place Any colour as car is getting re-sprayed just need to be as rust free as possible Please help......
  14. Sorting central locking issues (probably caused by the heater matrix failure) well that's all for now folks, suffice to say I'm very happy with the progress, I now have to find a few parts for her; namely 2 wings and the rear number plate lights metal surround (bad description) the bit that should be hear
  15. Well I've just received my first group of photos showing the work the lads have done so far so here we go: where's my dash there it is the first issue the repair More rust spots back from the blasters ready for fitting fitted Some underneath shots (bloody UK weather) cleaning 20+ years of grime Rear disc backing plate fitted Now the brembo disc fully assembled Dash going back in
  16. Similar effect can be found on the VRT that I was lucky to own http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?94704-My-Purple-Passion There is a close up showing the holes in the bumper and the mesh where the fogs would go. I had no issues with cooling, even on a spirited drive round Castle Coombe. The had even put spacers on the bonnet mounts so it sat up a little allowing air to flow through.
  17. Quick shout out about this show coming up this weekend. My Brother, being very local to this organises the Golf Mk2 Forum stand and has got 20 x car passes for the show. There are still some spaces available and as it is getting near he has asked me to post here and see if any Corrado's would like to come to the show. There are 5 slots available. Open to anyone, does not have to be a CCGB member. And as he says about the Golfs any condition car welcomed, if it drives there its stand worthy. His original post (taken from the Golf forum) ALL TYPES VW SHOW SUNDAY 21ST MAY BODELWYDDAN CASTLE NORTH WALES POSTCODE LL18 5YA Link to site - http://www.alltypesvwshow.co.uk/Main-Ho ... -home.html Camping is available for Saturday night, gates are open from midday on Saturday 20th. Sunday is the Main Show Day Very nice family friendly show in a stunning part of the world I will be requesting a 20 x Car club stand so as usual if you want a space stick a post on the thread and I will add your name to the list below. UPDATE 13TH FEB - CLUB STAND IS NOW BOOKED AND ACCEPTED As always all welcome and positively encouraged we had a good few new members last year on the stand so don't be shy all are welcome no matter what the condition of your car; if it can make it to the show then it is good enough to be on the Club Stand.
  18. I used this company to get mine. The first lasted about 5 years before I ended up putting a hole in it. Extremely well made, now on my second one. https://www.stormcarcovers.co.uk/collections/stormforce-car-covers/products/vw-car-covers?variant=640763609 As stated on the other posts for the perfect fit, the mirrors go in and the aerial is removed I used to put a sponge on the aerial mount to hopefully prevent damage to the cover
  19. Well on Sunday 7th May I drove North to my birthplace in North Wales to assist my brother with a few car moves and to see his new acquisition. That night I spent on the couch at his house and on the Monday at 0400 we started, what according to Google was 9hrs and 483 miles of driving. (Link to brother thread on the golf forum lets you see the cars) that we moved: http://www.vwgolfmk2.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=47320 Our first trek was to Waterwerks near Bath to visit Tom, who's the owner of said garage. He is a VAG specialist who has gone his own way (see link below) http://www.vwgolfmk2.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=33643 After dropping the MK2 and Mk3 off we headed west to Swindon and a lunch stop at my house. There we loaded my beloved 303, as mentioned in this thread earlier she was always going to get a good refurb and now is the time. It has gone to North Wales to spend a few months with Chris, my sisters fella. A bloody good and reliable mechanic with a life time of experiences on all cars. A couple of pictures on its arrival. Fair play to the olde girl I made the error of leaving the handbrake on when she came off the road and thought I was going to be in for a nightmare trying to move her; but she's made of sterner stuff and started up on the first go and moved with some rubbing of the brake and discs, all under her own steam
  20. Gets better than that in July they are doing a whole feature on the Corrado vs Integra Type R
  21. Hya Anna, Well my original Corrado has gone to get a well deserved makeover. The guy phoned me today and said he'd managed to get the back ones from TPS but could not find the fronts and hey presto you are doing them. Could I get a set pretty please.
  22. Hey Jake aka Swompy, Great news glad to see you back in a Corrado. Looks v.g in those pictures. Would be good to bump into you this season, are you planning on going to any shows?
  23. Well a really good day, on arrival I found the CCGB had a stand and as it was next to the Golf stand I parked the Corrado with them. a good turn out with 9 cars on the stand and another 5 or 6 round the show ground with most being in the concourse arena. Met a few owners and it was very good to catch up with Dave after a couple of years
  24. Well up nice and early for the start of Meld's show season. Car cleaned and prepped and ready for a drive to Stanford Hall. the car will be on the Golf Mk2 stand.
