  1. We were at Tatton Park at the weekend and got details for Principal Insurance, based in Manchester. Will cover Agreed Value, love mods and will also do buy back in the event of a write off. Sounded good, not used myself though. I used the usual suspects Brentache and Adrian Flux when I had the turbo. http://www.principalinsurance.co.uk/
  2. Corrados found at the show. any one on here?
  3. That was the Saturday quick drive down to Droitwich and a night stop in the Holiday Inn. Breakfast ate and at 0730 we headed off for Shelsey Walsh. What a cracking day after the weather on the Saturday. Lovely sunshine all day. Few pics of the day and the Corrados I found: The Hill climb Apparently this Corrado is a Twin Turbo affair; one small one large Citroen AXGT press release car
  4. So last weekend was a bit of a motoring festival and having taken loads of photo's thought I'd show those that are interested a collection taken on the day. First stop on the Saturday was Tatton Park and the Classic and Power Show, bit of a washout left the field very dirty but one massive down pour during the day.
  5. Damn, blast, too late. Getting my original refurbed at present and that could have been the icing on the cake as mines blackberry with beige
  6. Hey Mystic Blue, Have you still got this item for sale?
  7. Are you able to make this a sticky Jim
  8. Not that far I drove from Swindon then took them to North Wales then came home again. Only took 11hrs
  9. Can I make this a sticky or does a moderator have to do it?
  10. Just giving this place a shout out, especially for those in the North. website link http://www.rotboxrustorations.com I needed two wings fixing and came across his website during my google searches. After a quick chat on the phone I sent my wings to him via courier but decided to collect them after the fix as I didn't want his good work ruined by the couriers so collected myself. Nice chat with Matt and his wife. They own a Corrado but aren't on the forum. Check them out. I was well impressed with the quality of his workmanship and would definitely use again His Corrado Restoration http://www.rotboxrustorations.com/blog/car-restoration-guide My wings getting done http://www.rotboxrustorations.com/corrado-wings.html
  11. Well 303's restoration continues and I'm able to see it occasionally when I'm dropping parts off or visiting the family. These are the latest, it should be off to body shop soon have to do a couple of shout outs. Chris (lilfuzzer) helped me acquire a few valuable needed parts for the car. I took a trip up to see him and grab the parts. And Matt (owns a Corrado but is not on the forum). The front wings needed attention and I wanted to keep as much of the car original as I could; rather than getting good replacements. This missing wings getting worked on: http://www.rotboxrustorations.com/corrado-wings.html Matt runs Rotbox Rustorations near Thirsk, having sent him the wings by courier once they were done I decided to collect rather than chancing the courier service......would have been gutting to receive at the garage damaged. So a 594 mile day ensued and 11hrs driving. Swindon - Thirsk - N Wales - Swindon. This is a link to his website : http://www.rotboxrustorations.com highly recommended.

    Help Please

Hello folks, My blackberry is undergoing a restoration at last. Could anyone help, I need a fan cowling and a good working air control unit please Thanks in advance
  13. Well on Thursday I travelled to County Durham and met with Chris(aka lilfuzzer) on here to get the sunroof and see what else he had. It was great to meet him and after a quick purchase of a few other items he showed me round the estate. His latest project looked stunnning in the flesh and once on the road, I expect many smiles to follow. Thanks again Chris, hopefully, if needed I can contact you for anyother items I might need.
  14. I agree with your thoughts, it one of those things, while doing the restoration I might as well do this if one becomes available
  15. No distance to far for the right part. I recently took my godson up to Stirling to look at a potential first car. An Orange VW Up Groove 63 plate with 20k, he liked it that much, we spent the rest of the day driving back down south in it. He is one happy chappy. What sort of price would you be looking to get for it?
  16. Thanks thought it was a bit out there.
  17. Looking for a sunroof cassette for the restoration of my original Corrado. Anyone got one spare that they'd like me to take of the hands for a fee of course. Seen one on flea bay but the buyer is asking 499.99 for. In my eyes that seems excessive, Is it? What sort of price range should I be looking at? It's from a 94 Blackberry which is perfect for my original but slightly put off on the price Thoughts?
  18. Hey Dox, first dibs please just sent link to my garage guy to see if it will work. Thanks in advance

    Front wings

No they are for the early type models. See my link http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?99521-Early-and-Late-Model-Front-Wings A nice bit about the difference between the two types
  20. Thank you that's very interesting much appreciated
  21. Thanks Dox, could I ask for some pictures. I'll pm my email
  22. Okay I need to ask the question. How different are the wings, I am trying desperately to get some late model front wings as my original is getting restored back to health. So questions are? How different are they? Do the early type fit the later models? could I use two early good wings and cut and weld late model bits from mine to make good ones? They say a picture paints a thousand words so those knowledgeable ones amongst us, if you could show differences through pictures that would make my mind see clearer. Many thanks in advance to those that help. Also while doing this, anyone got a late model sunroof cassette available for purchase; needs to tilt / slide with ease
