  4. Will be a positive for Porsche IMO, they could do with having some of VWs customer service skills and reliability....

  12. Yep silver silk nappa audi exclusive interior, seen quite a few tbh. Wow onestep, the view and car look amazing!!! make me wish I was on holiday :(
  13. The handling is superb, the car is lowered from factory with thicker arbs etc, when driving you feel like your in control of something much smaller, the DRC keeps it flat and the quattro system is superb. First time we had it on the motorway the third lane just emptied out, it pulls like a train all the way up to the limiter (tested on a track of course). Believe it or not fuel economy is not too bad if driven sensible :) Some pics from a recent meet:
  14. LOL engine is massive! surprised it fits in that bay! Needed a family car so we got a B7 RS4 Avant......nothing like whopping a porkas ass in an estate with ur misuss and three kids in the back :)
  15. Just have to decide what to do with the Corrado now..
  16. Dont bother with spot weld cutters, expensive and fidgety......just get a good quality metall drill bit HSS carbon or whatever it is. Stop regular and lube with machine oil, you will drill through for a while, after a bit you well get a feel for the metal and you will surprised you can sense when you can have gone through just enough metal to split the panels. Also worth having a flat chisel and hammer too! Dont worry about making too much mess holes can always be filled!

    1.8t vs Vr6

You are all wrong! lol 5 cylinders and a turbo is the way forward!!!! Hey everybody happy!
  18. TPS were a life saver for me....really helped out with the parts and numbers with the 4wd and turbo build. Supplied me with endless diagrams and cross referenced other parts across the range I could use. Guys in my local branch were real petrol heads too. Things have changed over the last few years tho (think they got bought out), as they seem to be more sales/target driven. Still great tho and provide gen parts and prices often cheaper than ECP or GSF and with a discount if your cheeky enogh to ask!
  19. Congrats mate! VERY IMPRESSIVE! How did the C handle at that speed? what was the wind noise like? Been watching the videos and getting an adrenalin rush just watchin them!!!
  20. standard dishes are 8", if your dishes are 8.5" with a 20mm/25mm spacer that would make them et33/et28
  21. 27mm could make the wheels stick out of the arches, they might fail you because the wheels stick out further than the body! 5mm spacers are cheap as chips and availabe from halfords or motorserv, I ran 5mm spacers for a few years with standard bolts with no probs. Or you could just take the arch liners out!?
  22. Look like they fit really well! Take it there et35? What tyres are you running? I was planning on 205/40/17 tread all round. Front 8x17 with 10mm spacers so et25 Rear 8.5 17 with 30mm spacers so et-2 (i think!)
  23. Take it they are fouling on the innerside of the wheel on the inside of the arch/suspension? If so get some 5mm spacers from halfords, you should be able to use them with standard wheel bolts. Be carefull when using bolts that are too long as you could damage the ABS ring that sits behind the hub hope that helps!
