    Oh dear..!!

Lack of rear arch liners makes the under seal fair game to debris being chucked up, u just need a small hole in the under seal allowing water ingress and resulting water sitting against the panel. Had a mk2 that was completely destroyed, yet under seal looked fine. If that’s the only bit it may be more cost effective to let a garage do the remediation rather than buy a welder, also the suspension mount will take some degree of skill to not end up looking a mess.
  8. New rims finally fitted (too much time on the other project), pics in the sun really show off the pearl green paint Plans are to paint the carriers and rear calipers, and change the suspension to koni shocks + H&R springs, coilovers are just not right for this car.
  9. Cars a bit of a mystery to be honest, had it about a month. Will dig thru the paperwork and confirm Spec. Defo does not have water injection tho, has dubpower exhaust system. Does have a peloquin lsd though with rebuilt box, puts the power down with no wheel spin. Also has been polybushed, eibach arbs fitted along with koni shocks. Also seems to run very cool, arround 90c, has an oil cooler, prob not A thermostatically controlled one If you pm me your email address I can send you any images you like.
  10. Yep Vortech stage 2, schrick manifold, SP263 cams, advised it is 300+ (don't have an exact figure), defo feels like 300+ :). Work was done by stealth, been meaning to give them a buzz to see if they have any further info.
  11. awesome work mate, love the dedication to the car. You have a very similar setup to mine, only hell of a lot cleaner!
  12. As for the new seats......and the rest of the interior all cleaned and ready to go back in, after removal and treatment of some rust.
  13. LOL Hoping to have this back on the road in a few months, dont want to hangabout
  14. Thoght stock for a late car was the smaller one?
  15. Opened another can of worms....love it though Nice nick Vr6....some electrical gremlins, and persistent water leaks, having stripped confirmed matrix OK, however fan seal had perished and door membrane leaking + 1 membrane missing altoghter! No wonder it smelts of dirty socks in there.
  16. Hi mate, planning to replace mine with 90mm, so my 30mm will be off the car soon...not 100% sure ont he condition though. Will post up some pics.
  17. Great Storm...best colour ;) Was planning similar treats for mine....other projects seem to get in the way though.

Seems reasonable price for the spec, you could remove the charger and other non standard bits recoup some money and put back to stock
