    Corrado floor mats

I should have gone and picked mine up, but been side tracked. Having them done dark grey with light grey binding to match the leathers. Price wise arround £75. I learnt my lesson with the cheap mats I bought a while back lol

    Corrado floor mats

A lot of dealers are now going 'unofficially' to small mat makers to get there mats made up, as there are better margins in it for them. Does anyone have any pics of the backing, the binding and close of carpet? Reason being is I have seen some fantastic quality custom ones and just wanted to see how the dealer ones compared. I know it might seem a bit OCD, but the last mats i bought were utter pants and have slowly self destructed, whilst the car has been laid up lol.
  10. How much does a mint set got for these days? Might have a much better option in terms of quality, finish, material and price.
  11. Cheers. You will defo miss the corrado when its gone! for an old motor they still turn a lot of heads.
  12. Awsome motor...Dont sell it!!! LOL Also noticed you ran ZW1s for a while just wondered what size alloys / tyres you ran and if you needed spacers with coilovers? Cheers Sukh
  13. Seen quite afew abandoned mercs....also had to help push an e200 and new shape 5 series as they were stuck. Don't think rwd can cut it as there is no weight over the rear axle! FWD or 4wd :D seems to be the way to go!
  14. HI mate, Have you ever checked the DSG flywheel? they are are prone to failure and warping and causing vibration. This is a quite a common problem so much so VW/Audi sell a specific repair kit for it. Not sure what it consists of as it is listed as merely a DSG repair kit  friend of mine had one for 3.2 TT, went through a whole load of stuff before the real culprit was identified.
  15. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Corrado-VR6-recar ... 20b4d31d91  Am I missing something?
  16. Nice motor mate.....got ot admit no one does an engine bay like alfa! :luvlove:
  17. Wow had a read thru...car looks great in every pic! have to say the RH ZW1 pic is my fave
  18. Cheers...needs detailing TBH, som much tree sap where I live....can't be bothered to wash it as it will take to long :( also still need to get some scratches sorted
  19. Cheers fellas.....looking at 3k to do the roof...most of that is to pay for the scaffolding :gag: All donations welcome LOL
  20. For the 16v rad the lower pipe is in the right place, the needs to be on the oppsoite side. Same prob but vice versa with the VR6/rallye rad, custom would be the way to go. If I had to redo mine I would have gone custom to cut down on the cost of silicone pipes and joiners etc. The 16v rad should more than cope with the heat, have seen a 1.3 rad used on a remapped BAM engine  and the guy said it was fine.....funny thing was his turbos water lines were not connected either  Power wise aim for 180, car varys day day tbh, you can feel the car pull alot harder on cold wet days, the VR clutch should be fine, would not reccomened for anything over 200 as it does occasionaly slip. The best thing would be to get the car up and running and then get it re-mapped to suit the parts you have used for your build, as the QPE is too generic. Mine needs setting up properly and will prob take it to the Phirm as I have heard nothing but good things about the work they have done. Hope this helps.
  21. Can be done.....you can use the subaru rear subframe, bolt it to the chassis legs (with some re-inforcing), change the front chassis legs to subaru items and then just bolt up the subaru subframe. It was all done on that TV show...cant remember the name now...but basically used a mk2 golf, had the subaru AWD. Car looked fookin ugly tho.
  22. I'd go for a big as rad as possible, vr6 etc or use a genuine 16v one not a sh*tty pattern one from gsf and the like
  23. No exciting updates......just cleaned and tidied the bay and replaced a few bottles.....have to be budget mods for a while as the hose needs a new roof :( climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfDSCF4447.JPG[/attachment:l2r0utza] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfDSCF4448.JPG[/attachment:l2r0utza] DSCF4445.JPG[/attachment:l2r0utza]
