  5. VRs and G60s are both going to be classics in thier own right and goode examples of either will fetch good prices.. Have a go of either and think about what youd like to spend to make it to your personal tastes and go from there...

  8. Last week i was being followed and could not pull away from a Nova and i was going for it!!! Only time i could get some distance on hime was in the corners so i have a feeling that it was a bit nose heavy due to a transplant of some description, i wouldnt care but it was a bag of s**t to look at...
  9. How did you get on at stoner park mate ? Was denied access to show and shine, modded section was full and wasnt allowed in the standard section.. Was very pleased with how the car was looking on the club stand, shame it dumped all its oil on the way home, nearly sorted now though...

  13. Surprised to see you here Lee, thought you said you didnt like Corrados!!! :) No need to apologise about the wiring, very chuffed you got it sorted and an grateful for your efforts.. Will bear that in mind about the controller, will do some homework about the benefits of moving the flap opening time.. Just leads and the mount to go and that should be me happy for a while....

  17. After all the work of the last few weeks here is the almost finsihed result. I have polished up and fitted an old rocker cover along with the replacement of alot of bolts gaskets, cams and of course the manifold.. Still on the look out for some red leads to finish it off and then ill be happy. Unfortunately the VT mount hasnt shown up yet but thats also on its way very soon... Only draw back is ive sprung an oil leak, its dripping from the bell housing on the gearbox but just cant phatom out where its coming from.. Bloody typical...

Me and my dad had the same problem on an MG Midget ( i know its a bit different) but it was caused by fuel evaporating when the car was hot due to perished fuel lines, when replaced and upgraded with braided ones probelm solved... Maybe worth having a peep around and seeing what the condition of the lines are like..

  20. On a late VR 35mm isnt going to be enough of a drop imho, mine isnt decked but has gone down quite a bit lower than that.. Weitec is the 'budget' setups available from KW, they have a very good reputation, my KWs dont have dampening adjusment on them but i dont need it, they are spot on as they are, firm but not crashy, bouncy or anything else unpleasent...
