  1. Mine was a SE TDi130 and it was great!! My brother in law has a cupra and its lovely to drive also. They are really well made, solid cars and i bet the 225 rocks!!
  2. Id say with some of those bits youve done you should squeeze a little more money out of a buyer.
  3. I went from Leon to Corrado, both great cars and im sure they can live side by side. Enjoy them both....
  4. Welcome. I wouldnt let mileage scare you too much. There are asome great Corrados on here with over 150k on the clock, its how theyve been looked after that is the important bit. Read the buying guides and ensure that the nescesary maintenance has been carried out for the particular models (chain for VRs, supercharger servicing for g laders etc etc). Check service historys, dont just look for VAG stamps but look at specialist servicing ( a G Werks service will be better than one from your local dealer). The guides on here are good though and otherwise its all the usual accident damage and paint checks etc etc. Insurance seems to vary. Im 27 and am paying 550 on a Vr Storm. I got the policy through confused.com and it is with admiral. Best of luck and enjoy.....
  5. Just saw this Corradude, gutted for you mate. I know a lot of us have been in this situation and its w**k!! Hope it all gets sorted insurance wise, agree with the stealth shelf next time round, dont give the f**kers any ideas!!

    RH AG Cup wheels

Im not sure whther youd need arch mods ( ithink you wouldnt) but yes they are nice. If youre car was nice and low with these bad boys on then it would look quality. Might be worth asking if someone can you do you a photochop of them so you can get an idea...
  7. Ive just been bitten on the arse with this, little drip after a while = big leak and car off road. Itll happen when you need your car aswell. Not an expensive fix so id recommend getting it sorted.
  8. Yeah i thought my Storm was well rapid, i can remember chuckling to myself as i went flying down the A3..
  9. Looking nice, i can only spot 2 of them, whats the other???
  10. If its a corrado you could always post up the number plate on here and see if anyone around is the current owner. Otherwise, could be a challenge..

    Solitude wheels

Yep, this is true, ive seen a few of these around..
  12. Best way to find out, get a passenger and get them to stick their head out and have a listen.. Have a look at the shocks and see what they are looking like, no leaks etc??
  13. This is the 3rd year in the road that my Corrado has been off the road in january due to one fault or another (2 years consecutive for the storm and the one before for a valver).... Must just be that time of the year. I had this, turned out to be warped brake discs, fortunately they were still under warranty....
  14. Id been keen on having the top of the range job also. Quite happy to trial if needed...
  15. Car looks nice but photos not doing it justice, looks even sweeter in the metal!! Looking forward to seeing it in April!!
  16. Ill get it all set properly, its the torque that im after!!
  17. JIMMI is gonna do a couple of other jobs while hes on so ive just left it. Ill head back up and collect it in a couple of weeks. Ive had no speed 1 and 2 on my fans for ages, the little belt that connect them is missing and the VDOs are getting sorted so happy days...
  18. Sweet, get the cards out and get them bought!! Sounds like a good plan with the charger!! Im thinking about schricking mine, dont whether to go down the charger route, think lowering and a few other bits and bobs need to come first.
  19. I agree, i wish someone would make them. I like the ones ive done myself but would rather have a properly manufactured set...
  20. Welcome mate. Nice car, enjoy it!!
  21. Dub_nut_g60, ah i might not be getting a set of those then!! I just got back tonite (without the car)!! Look forward to having a shot in it, are they not really firm though??
  22. Foggystorm, im liking these!! I ordered a set from a mate who works for Audi, asked for the 2 clutch and LHD accelerator. He got me two brake covers instead so ive not get them in yet.....
  23. penfoldvr6, heres the link for the dial surrounds, they are quite dear but look the business (even better when they are lit up). All you need is some superglue to pop em in. http://www.dubdesignindustries.com/cata ... cts_id=229 M.P.H., still undecided and skint to be honest, im thinking Koni, FK silverlines or such alike. I dont want anything too firm though. I absolutely love it, just a shame its poorly at the moment. Gonna be a long two weeks without her!!!
  24. Looking nice mate, any plans for it??
