Does it wear a campaign badge on the rear and on the console??

When i phoned VW they confirmed it over the phone and sent me a nice letter of confirmation.

Essential to do this, especially for us guys with green ones!!

Only real confirmation, as i did with mine, is get in touch with VW themselves and ask them.

If its mysic blue then its a storm, nobody can argue with you on that.

Youll have a job finding a genuine one, there are aftermaket ones which look the same.

As with any badge, just heat it up and itll come off.

Just get in there Phil, I think there are 4 bolts to undo.

After that just wiggle the motor around and eventually itll come out.

I thought id have to shift the spoiler gubbins but its not necessary.

There is no number, shame as it would have been nice.

Thye should have a storm badge on the console. These were supplied to the dealer for them to fit after removing the Karman badge. Reckon there will be a few out there with it missing.

I used to hate yellw Rados and now i think they are ace.

Recently removed the rear wiper which looks so much better and added German plates.

Still saving for some coilovers and a supersprint exhaust. Reckon i might get involved in the schrick group buy as well, funds permitting!!!

Id imagine (and there are more qual;ified people than me on here) that the S4 engine isnt gonna go in without some serious chopping.

As vr6storm, its longitudinally mounted so youre talking power to rear wheels and the engine is big so you probably have to alter just about everything.

If youre dead set on a different engine conversion stick to something from a FWD, what about the new 2.0 turbo job from the new Golf GTI????

Id be tempted to ask Phil K, sure hes from the surrey area.

Definitely right not to get the work done, get the stamp in the book from VW and take the rest elsewhere...

Just about anything is possible with the right amount of time and money.

Definitely sounds like a good idea, we are all gonna need these at some stage.

If we are only talking a few mins then there is always a slight inaccuracy within a clock, either digital or analogue and over time the fractions of a second will add up to give you slightly the wrong time.
