-
Got my copy today, bet your well chuffed!!
Nice one JBOB.

I know Mav3, the site has been static for ages now.
Thought it may be of interest to some of the newer Corrado enthusiasts around here.

Saw this a long time ago and thought that some may not have seen it.

These are some examples of a few Rados looking a little sorry for themselves.
Go to the crashes and wrecks link.
Theres some other interesting stuff to be seen in there as well.

Got the wiper off the car today, little bit of a fiddle removing the motor but i got there in the end.
It makes the back end look so much better, with the spoiler up and down.
Cheers for the tips and the how do guide.

Looks like a good motor martinb, what have you got planned for it??
Im becoming more of a fan of yellow Corrados in my old age.
The mats do need to go the journey.
-
AFAIK they only came in grey or possibly creamBeige interior cars have the cream ones.
-
so won't they light-up red or pink now? They will and the indicators will probably flash red also.
-
Theyll look fine dubburke, looks like theyve been well done, nice and shiny finish.
-
Youre a legend KADVR6, ta very much.
-
Sounds good, it looks like there wont be room but ill give it a shot without moving the spoiler bits.
How many mounting points did you have to undo??
Cheers for the advise.

Any suggestions on how much i should be paying and where would be the best place to source a Supersprint cat back with stainless back box??
-
Got a bag of assorted grommets.
Next question.
Took the boot trim panel off and am wondering now what the best way of lowering the motor out? do i need to lower the spoiler control set up as well??
Id appreciate any tips as i dont fancy charging in and knackering anything to do with the spoiler.

MK2 looks nice
Good luck with the corrado hunting, there a shed load of buying guides on here.

Ive seen a few Corrados now where the rear wiper is off and it has been blanked.
What size grommet do i need and where will i get one from??
Ive read some recent rear wiper posts but this question hasnt really been answered.
-
There was no damage at all when i put them in.
They didnt need to be pushed in with full bodyweight, just a persuasive push.
-
Ive got the 8mm on min (the blue ones) and they go straight in with a good push with a screwdriver handle.
Its the 8.5mm (red ones) when you need to start dremeling.
-
The VR sump is alot cheaper than the 4cyl ones, hence I got a Shrick! How much to those go for??
-
Yeah no probs, if i get home earlier ill let you know.
-
I hope you can speak French mind, i couldnt understand much of what it was trying to say!!
-
Is it worth parking it without the handbrake in (leaving it in gear) as it's on the level and I don't want the rear brakes to start playing up._________________
Yes, just chock the wheels. Leaving it on thye handbrake for ages could make it stick the next time you move it.
-
not sure if that's classed as a chuftie!Id consider that to be a very good chuftie mate.
I hope you winged at him for damaging the seat with a tab burn!!
-
If you cant get a hold of it and arent in a rush ill pass mine on to you. Itll be december before i can get my hands on it.

I was thinking about doing a similar thing myself purely to keep the miles off the Rado. I need a motorway cruiser for when i need to escape back up north.
Pros for garaging are no miles going on, no winter filth and salt.
Cons, you can do quite a bit to your motor for 1500 notes.
I suppose it depends on how much you use your Corrado.
I remember mine not being very keen on getting up the coast road by Jesmond Dene last winter when stuck in traffic!!
