I bought a 2nd hand one when i done mine lol ,but if you wanna smooth it then yeah you will have to remove it. i used drill sanding flap wheels .lots of sanding strips and wet n dry, wire brush drill bits to clean it down first . and TIME and once smooth some metal polish like autosol lol good luck with it mate , look forward to see how you get on . 8) I ended up giving mine away cause i bought an engine already done up nicely , the guy didnt smooth it as far as im awere but painted it in some water based paint i think he said giving it a very smooth finish like this

never happened to me but my friend has had that twice same situation roundabout , wet ect... I said the same prob diesel or drain cover cover

To get rid of the pitted marks is very hard work mate by hand , i started one a while back got about 80 % done then gave up lol prepare for fingers cramping and crap everywhere as its a dirty job too. Just a good clean can make them look nice or a lick of paint mine has been done black. a wire brush drill attachment can bring them up looking really nice and its quicker too. also see if this works for the rest :) viewtopic.php?f=31&t=28025

yep i recomend them too good prices and fast delivery also one of the only places i could find that does my 215/16/35s too

I have a copy did try to send it via email but kept failing , i should knock discs out at 3 quid a pop lol

we run standard brakes dude cant say we have ever had any issues or need for bigger ones, only thing i did was get some brembo max discs seem far better than standard ones and look cooler through the wheels :lol: they are quite cheep at gsf too anywhere else they are a bit pricey though

Had mine detailed and mopped lasted for ages all i had to do them was polish her , i use meguires myself as i found that gave the best and easiest results, been resprayed now though and jebus its RED :shock: lol

just a large bore 1.8 kr topend on a 9a bottom will give you good power gains mate , Matt at Dubunit sorted our car out for us not far from u either very good quality work and cheep too highly recomend him used him for years.

lol will do mate its a 2.0ltr bottom on ours now though the 1.9 bottom broke not long ago , going to steath for RR tune this saturday to see what she is running now hope for around the same figures will be happy then and extra is a bonus :) Dont live too far away only castlebromwich so sure we will see you around :)

Found out what it is now and its not good news , after being RR tuned at stealth my rado has been running very very lean , i cant prove its there fault but they are the only people ever to touch the engine settings :censored: which has caused my little end in pot 3 to give up the game :(

Went out tonight car was running fine and on the way home pushed it a little not ott and all hell breaks loose car now sounds like a machine gun any ideas anyone , engine isnt very old either only had 20k on it when fitted about 5k ago ( any ideas anyone please :(

Spotted 2 on the a38 by derby sunday about 1ish first was a nugget and the 2nd was dark blue poss black dont know what flavour as they where going the other way lol , seen you both at the last min so didnt get a chance to wave or flash but seen the passanger in the 2nd one pointing :wave:

Took it easy on the way home too :lol: just cruises faster than the old engine ;) nice seeing another rado on the road going the same way , everytime i see one they are usual;ly going the oposite way :lol: yours is well nice mate will look wicked with them rims on 8)

White corrado spotted today by drayton manor park we flashed but forgot we was in our audi :lol: still got a flash back though :) misses spotted you a few weeks back too in fazeley she was in the rado then :)
