What i did to Kates car today uprated headlight loom she shouldnt have no problem seeing at night any more
-
Looks like a passat one fella
-
630mm is the size im getting off ETKA (stealers program), They use a make called Denso Marston. Have heard so many stories of people using no genuine radiators and the hose points not fitting correctly etc id stay well clear and bite the bullet and get a VW genuine one it will then last another 15 years
-
Twilight Violet i guess as its looks identical to the Missus' VR. Ace pics mate
-
Definitely buy a new one from VW fit once last years
-
you can take the backing off inside the boot area and have a ganders problem is that the spoiler mech is in the way so maybe hard to see

Haha Love it X -
No pics im afraid but as you say the front most anchor points are rendered useless as there is nothing to attach them too
-
Do you have an uprated headlight loom??
-
Drill another hole in the bottom edge fella thats all id did with mine
-
Might be something simple though check the less costly things first fuel filter etc and work from there. Good luck fella. Moneypit23's car was a very random one no blue smoke, or any major signs it was just really hard to start it. The old girl (the car not the missus :-p) is doing well after the work though Jon

Very good link Roan thanks

Thanks fellas, yeah i know a steering wheel aint going to be cheap but i fancy having the OEM steering wheel retrimmed in standard black leather with red stitching to match the gear gaitor that my missus kindly did

Leather Trimmed centre tunnel / pillar trims - now in cream!
Jon_vr6 replied to badgerman's topic in Suppliers Forum
Once your finger is back to normal fella let me know i have a spare late VR steering wheel ive wanted retrimming for a while now. The top part of the leather has come off so is in a sorry looking state. Im in no rush for it atall i mean i could send it down to you and if it takes weeks and months it takes weeks and months As for not being able to charge what you want to make it worthwhile, charge what you feel is the right amount you would be happy with, no point doing it if your under cutting yourself fella. BTW the pics of the steering wheels above look amazing top work dude Anyway once your back up let me know Cheers Jon -
Two corrado storms now thats just plain greedy Andy haha. Good to see it being saved though mate well done

overheating yellow temp, blue temp, thermostat which one... HELP needed ASAP
Jon_vr6 replied to edd's topic in Engine Bay
Similar thing happened to me where the water temp would keep going up and up past the 100 degrees mark and then the coolant light would flash no fans would come on or anything. Was diagnosed as the yellow temp sensor on the thermostat housing. That was changed and was all back to normal cant remember if my bottom rad hose was cold or not so may or may not be your problem -
Received my two today mate look great many thanks indeed fella Jon

Anyone got part numbers for both the lenses, there are like 4 options for each side when i last looked??
-
Me too, 2 pairs for me. Always good to have spares
-
If the ABS is cutting in then that sounds like the problem i had when two of the sensors at the wheels had gone, replaced and job was a goodun. Also worth a try cleaning them up first and checking the rotors
