  1. I cut the solid brake line off on both sides and replaced! Once rounded off there was no chance that was coming off Good luck
  2. Yep as the Toad master says the end on the solid brake line should spin. At least you managed to undo your solid brakeline from the flexi hose my solid brake line nut just rounded off when i did my 288mm conversion!
  3. And as the GF says it drips straight onto the electric mirror switch (i think thats how hers broke too much posing lol)

  7. play as in broken play! Is there noise coming from the wheel area near the driveshafts?
  8. See if there is any play in the driveshaft cv joints first!
  9. driveshaft - CV joints was a clunky noise on the GF's corrado when her cv joint went!

  12. The GF's car is now up and working but the fuel gauge doesnt work, speedo doesnt work and the rev counter seems a bit dodgy any of you know what could be the cause ?? The whole dash was removed as you can see above could it be a fuse?? It will be going back to the garage tomorrow to get it sorted!

  14. Pics with them on looking nice 8) PSI are the gods when it comes to VW's so big thanks to Matt, Andy and all the crew very highly recommended. They have also moved premises so they have so much more room now than they had before!
  15. All done 2day took them about 3-4 hours with full geo set-up is looking better now and not too low just right! Drove out and the ABS light was on so drove back and they ran some tests and a sensor wire had just come off so alls good 8) Will get some pics up soon! Ride is harsher and you feel the potholes more but handles so much better round bends!!
  16. best one for me was direct line that was £1300 fully comp on a vr6 and im 21(was at the time) so not much help but worth giving them a bell or try chris Knott insurance good luck Jon
  17. PSI tuning were the best price i could find they want £176 inc VAT for fitting its on their website, awesome gti wanted £220 for fitting and a local garage near me wanted £280 for fitting! Dont know if PSI can supply them but the cheapest i found KW V1's was for £549.99 from Strictly Dubs! Have just removed my rear strut brace to make PSI's life easier took the best part of 30 mins to get out! :)

  19. Kates corrado is on its knee's at the garage getting a new heater matrix fitted so no convoy over the hills! Will come over for a chat at harewood house me and kate coming not on the stand though as theres no room!
  20. Kate will be with me so maybe we will have to find some twisty roads around the peak district on the way back or just drive the long way home! 8) Yours is looking ace Chris liking the new alloys i think the bbs' suit it best!
