    Considering it was supposed to pour down most of the day, it turned out to be quite a good day. Will post my pics when i get chance to upload them, cars on the stand looked great as usual good to talk to a few of you Jon

    Im in for a fibreglass one please, also do these need/use the standard clips that clip onto the metalwork and then the new piece clips on??

    Don't use a low temp stat they are only good when its a hot day in the winter mine was always below the 70 OC mark meaning it was always running in the start up map, MPG was rubbish in the winter because of it. Do an oil and filter change and see if that helps

    Don't use P6000's awful tyre yeah they last ages but any sign of a damp road and they understeer badly. Had them on mine and you could do a 4 wheel drift in the rain

    Think Matt means the tatton park charge itself ie You have to pay to get into the park and then pay to get into the VW show if your not part of the show itself

    Just to put your mind at ease i find out recently that mine has been running a Golf vr6 oil filter housing and oil filter (remember you cant use a corrado vr6 oil filter in a golf housing as it just doesnt fit its either golf housing and filter or corrado housing and filter you can't mix them) for god knows how long without any damage to engine etc. I will be changing it back to the standard corrado housing and filter when i next do an oil change.

    Conversion looks great mate, have you thought of relocating the battery to the boot so you can get a cold air feed from the front

    No worries mate i only knew that fuse was connected to the MFA after i accidentally pulled the wrong one out when fixing the rear spoiler haha, Have fun putting the Nugget back together fella

    I probably would have done more chatting had my car been there but was depressed it wasn't so kept busy looking at the other cars. Yeah thought the 3 satin one came out pretty well

    If one half pops up then get someone to hold the bonnet release pull while you press down on the drivers side bonnet pin a few times usually that helps release the pin

    Andy i will be going but in Lee's corrado so just the one mystic blue storm, mine would have gone too but its got a nasty oil leak thats getting sorted next friday. See you all there

    James are you still struggling with Vag com lead etc, are you going to awesome gti open day this sunday and then Tatton Park the following Sunday if so i could let you borrow mine for a week as im going to both ?? Its all genuine and with software etc
