it may drive well but will it better than the golf its based on? it couldn't be that much better as it is a golf at the end of the day. I mean what does this have that the golf doesn't and even vice versa. The garage said if it was one of their employees their insurance would cover it. But as it was a customer it wouldn't. Don't want to get too nowty with garage as they are a good bunch of lads who own it.

if you wear a ring i wouldn't do the door handles, too muck risk of them catching IMHO

try disconnecting each speaker and see if still occurs (short circuit protection might be cutting in) or steal the one out of a friends car and see if the problems still there. at least it would prove your wiring.

sure its not the splash plate catching? it does run v close to disc and easily bent

and what does this do, is it the speedo? Will check the wire though, thanks. this does the speedo and sends a signal to the spoiler module behind the dash by the light switch.

sounds like it could be that then as its only missing when warm ta lee

speed sensor on box should have a wire thats blue with white stripe this is the speed reference. it goes from the gearbox to a common block on the fuse box to the top right hand side this should then go off to spoiler module and speedo.

hi all whats the electrical plug that sits on top of the rear engine mount on a g60 for?? my c's just started missing on load. :( I changed the mounts last weekend could this be related? :? I'm changing leads dizzy cap, rotor arm and fuel filter tomorrow plugs are 1k old

tell your m8 to be v careful with the studs just put a racceland manifold on myself 3 studs snapped head off job :shocked!: he will need to remove drivers driveshaft and maybe the inlet manifold too otherwise you cant 'snake' it in.
