After briefly chatting with Chris, he has accepted my offer of delivery of the drivers side quarter at his cost. However if I'm honest and he agree's with this also if Mr STORM2 wishes to collect both then this would benefit me greatly and save a delivery trip myself on just the one. So Mr STORM2 if you wish to buy both after the Jubilee weekend, please get in touch via PM and we can a arrange a time and date to do so. Different part numbers for early and late versions of these so would assume small differences.

Where can I find info on the best boxes to find this 3.68 FD, would assume its in more than one standard VAG box..?

If you need one of these: I've got a couple of spares kicking about you can have, just trying to confirm for you if your auto setup uses the same mount.

After advertising these via eBay and having the usual time wasters buying but not quite understanding what's involved in collecting these quite large panels, I thought it best to advertise these separately here. A pair of complete rear quarter panels that are 100% rust free which from what I've seen of most Corrado's these days is becoming extremely rare. These are perfect for bodyshops to un-pic the spot welds and create a complete rear quarter repair panel at a fraction of the price of new. They both include the troublesome rear lower valance/corner sections that have a habit of trapping water and then rusting away as well as complete inner & outer arch skins - again no rust. Think complete rear corner of a Corrado from boot opening to door opening. Available separately or together but need to go and are far to good to go the scrap yard. Pics: Price: £50 each [Which is think is fair considering condition and size] £90 the pair. Collection will now be from Hatfield, Herts as a friend is storing them whilst I look after his Corrado but can possibly arrange delivery at cost dependant on location. Any questions below. Hey Harry, Right I've got the short of the two shafts, which if I'm correct is the one you are after as the gearbox is on the pass side and so there it's a short shaft on that side. £25 for the shaft plus courier which I'd imagine will be around £12 due to weight so £37 all in basically which is a fair bit better than 45 +VAT plus your fuel to collect. As title really... Wondering if anyone has had recent contact with Mr Pat_McCrotch...? I know he's a well respected forum member and sets up a lot of new genuine parts deals etc etc...but I've tried contacting him several times over the last two weeks and I'm getting nothing. I've paid for a small item which I would kinda of a like relatively soon as it's been bugging me for ages and I was excited to find he could get hold of it for me. But alas he seems to be some what absent of late. If anyone knows him personally and could you give him a 'poke' in the Corrado Forum direction it would be much appreciated. I'm sure I'm not alone on this matter based on him selling a lot via the forum also. Regards, Stu

As title really... I know I'm asking a lot but I seriously haven't seen a set for sale in best part of 2 years. ...However I really want some. So I'm prepared to swap my front grey leather seats which are in reasonable condition for the age & more importantly a brand new drivers side replacement bolster (which I've been hoarding for a while) plus a substanial amount of cash if anyone has a set an isn't too bothered about them. Loom would also be useful but not essential. Let me know what you have...all offers considered even if they are badly worn/damaged etc. Only real Corrado Recaro's need apply. Regards, Stu

A hefty softish punch should do the trick, might be easier to bang the hub bolts back into the suspension to stop it flopping about while you do it... ...failing that remove the driveshaft from the gearbox end and take the whole lot to a solid bench/vice and work on it there.

Confirms what I thought about supplier then as what you describe is exactly what I found. Tabs didn't line up even close.
