NEW Group Buy - VR6 Polyurethane engine mounts (PAYMENTS PLEASE)
StueyB replied to 24V Renshaw's topic in Forum Group-Buys
Almost got another sale for you Jay, twisting a friends arm to get some because he doesn't know what he's missing. -
Have parts been posted yet mate..?
-
Got a 90mm splitter with a crack in one corner. Could be repaired, rest of it is in good condition tho. Don't want a huge amount for it.

Hey mate, Have a full sender/tank pump from a 2.0 8v still in the tank. If you can find out if that's suitable then let me know. Immediate dispatch available. Regards, Stu

Cream Corrado Carpets - Good Clean Condition
StueyB replied to 87 Jetta 16v's topic in Parts for Sale
Amazed this hasn't sold...getting good condition cream stuff is hard work at the best of times. -
Bumpy bump..?
-
Paid 3.

All of the ones I have are used but the black ones tend to be the replacement versions of the creme ones so that one will be a younger version possibly recently replaced with the age of the cars. You can tend to see once removed whether a switch is on its last legs. My personal advice is buy new, fit and forget but I'm happy to post one out if required however unlikely I can do this before Saturday..?

Got a black one & a cream one at minimum as spares. Whatever they are new half it & add a £1 for postage and I'll send it out.

A friend of mine has almost completed a rather tidy little Vento Supercharged project but has hit a small problem and I'm hoping someone on here can shed some light on it. Car is a VW Vento with what is essentially a freshly rebuilt G60 lump just fitted, instead of the G charger he's using a Eaton Merc unit but it's running pretty much OE management for the time being with an SNS Chip as far as I'm aware. All works lovely jubbley... Now for the problem...he's come to bleed up the brakes after fitting all new lines, discs, pads, refurbed calipers la la la and he's getting weird pressure issues. Bleeds up fine, solid pedal then all of a sudden loses the pedal. He'a got no leaks, rear bias valve seems fine, trained lorry mechanic so he's no monkey with a wrench. The only thing we can think is he's not running ABS but has used an ABS servo and master cylinder due to it already being fitted. Could this be the cause of the issue..? Any help/advice greatly received guys. Stu

I want that wing, just to put on my unit wall...

Have a 90mm splitter for sale, in general used condition. Does have a crack in one corner but very fixable and don't want the earth for it.
-
PM sent re: boot carpet set. Can probably source a black carpet also at cost.

Echo what David says... ...my love for Volkswagens stems from being driven around as a child in my parents Mk2 Passat Coupe GL5. 200k+ and some 17 years later, still on its original engine and running gear and only replacement ancillaries, we had to say goodbye due to the bodywork letting it down. Was an absolute work horse with plenty of poke and rumble to boot. Was used to tow various speed boats for years which included boat recovery from steep slip roads (4 up on the bonnet to keep the wheels from spinning) and shunting in and out of a garage that was only just wide enough (talking less than an inch either side) for many years. Never let us down, Cornwall holiday run after Cornwall holiday run. Just superb and worth its weight in gold by the end. I've also had the pleasure of part owning a Santana GL5 as a bit of fun. Despite being almost on it's last legs with comedy features like a slightly broken, retracting drivers seat, slipping clutch and suspension which made you feel like you were on one of those theme park simulators, it was a hell of a hoot, 5-pot rumble and addictive. All in all, a very underated, classic motor.

This explains your error completely ;)

Bonnet went on eBay I'm afraid mate and back up to your neck of the woods ---------- Post added at 10:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:51 PM ---------- You're sadly about a day late for both the handbrake lever and black leather gearknob... And I've got no original Corrado alloys...just the 17'' BSA Multispokes on eBay here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180867790206?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649#ht_4794wt_1416

I have one but it is still attached to a rear quarter. You are more than welcome to come down and either cut it out or try and remove it...?

What's the Notorious B.I.G. sampled track towards the end...? It's v.v.v.v.nasty.

Haha....1993/1994....haha....since when has an F-plate been that young Nick..? Besides Nick's slight over sight, still plenty left off a car that is clearly never seeing the road again. Parts prices are unfortunately at the mercy of the breakers which seem like quite an organised affair so I wouldn't expect any ridiculous bargains for large items. Drop either of us a PM for info/requests etc etc...

Haha...completely missed it. Listening now whilst learning how to operate a blackberry.
