  1.

No no they are not  Dubmeister do legal ones fully stamped up and everything

Hmm not so sure about it as was spoken to the police officer and that what he said.

    1) First of all number plate must be made from plastic !

    2) Must be correct size and correct letters size etc.

If You are sure that Dubmeister do legal ones, can You please give us some law confirmation.

After I was stopped by police I had 14 days to replace them, and had to go on MOT station to get a stamp on the paper work, then had to send thic piece of paper back on police. I've asked 3 different MOT testers about metal pressed number plates and all of them said. ITS ILLEGAL.

  2. As need 2 new tyres for MOT it was cheaper to but 4 used bbs alloys with almost 4 new tyres than 2 used tyres with fitting. They are only temporary wheels as will be 17 in the future.

If You can't take Your rear alloy off I found a solution. After about 20 minutes kicking and using a hammer my rear alloy was still on a car so I tried to talk to it in other way :)

  3. Need to replace my CV joints but decided to replace all 4, inner and outer. I know that can go straight to dealer and pay about 500 quid for all 4. Second options are the not original vw parts which can be bought for about 150 quid for all 4 but are they any good ?? Have You got any experience, any online shops ??

Did my research and found a few.

ECS Tuning is selling complete shaft http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Cor ... ft/ES8518/. Price is very cheap and quality probably as well.

Another I found on US ebay with life time warranty for 112.49 USD. anotcher cheap price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VW-Front ... ccessories

Next think is that I'm planing to go turbo in a future so maybe I can buy some performance drive shafts to 500-600 ps. Saw few in a past but can't find any one now. If You have some link to web page will be glad.

Did any of You can recommend any good solution.

  4. Good luck....just one question....why?

Why is he intending to put in lots of work to get the car into top condition again?? Why are you asking why?!

No no, why sell one good corrado and buy one bad corrado?

EDIT - Nevermind me, getting myself confused between 2 different threads...

    1) Why... Just a bit of explanation. I had 5 Corrado in a past 8 years. Can't stay without one so decided that one must stay with me as a second car forever. If I have to own Corrado, it must be a VR6. That was the logical answer....

    2) Why.... Because I love it. Every different car I owned wasn't 100% satisfaction for me.

  5. Just back from M.O.T Test. I was prepared car that will fail this time. It's even better than I thought. Floor is in very good condition, no rust at all. Passed exhaust emission test in very good level having 182k miles on the clock. Basicly what I have to do is what I was prepared to do, it means replace all suspension, brakes, bearings etc. Off course not everything was wrong on the mot but I like this car to be like new. Everything, means, most of the things will be done myself, I hope so :)

In advisory notice mot tester wrote. Warning: In my opinion, the vehicle is dangerous to drive.......

Front bearing is playing very...very much. Car was left in my garage and will not be moved until I fix everything. Wish me luck.

  6. As far as I know when had my VSR in a past it works on coilpack obd2 engine with only one small problem. It doesn't work as was designed after 4000 RPM. I have a crazy bosch specialist guy who developed some kind of pigback who resolve this problem. Tested and works. Have one in my hands but newer had it fitted as sold my VSR long time ago. This guy had it fitted and it does the job perfect.

  7. Interesting option. But how would it look if I'm interested about 450 ps. Are You thinking it will be possible in stage 3 or 4. Are You planing to achieve close or over 450 ps with this kit ??

You animal lol. Im sure Vince said thats going to be stage 2.

First I need to rebuild my engine but when will be a time to get a turbo, 450 ps is what I like to have.

  8. After 15 hours journey. Flight from Aberdeen to London, then back 587 miles on wheels I have own my 5th Corrado. Yes this is the last one. I hope.

Car has a lot to do but it's exactly what I was looking for. Body has some dents and scurf's. Interior needs very good cleaning and probably full leather reconditioning. Brakes need replacing, has new front disc and pads but callipers probably are sized and to be honest car is braking very bad. Engine has done over 180k miles and is not quick as suppose to be, left no more that about 140 ps from 190, it's what I could feel and many other small things but...... as I said. It's exactly what I was looking for.

It's a standard 1995 VR6 with cream heated leather having few extras like:

-Koni suspension kit with adjustable hardness

    -In.Pro head lights

    -Lupo wiper conversion

-Fibre glass one piece scuttle panel

-Some audio sub and amp box in boot which is removable of course

    -De-locked front handles

-Front brakes Bremo Max discs and Green Stuff pads

-Audioscope Door speakers pods in matching colour

Got this car from this forum from Slats. He's very honest chap, so Thanks mate once again for help and vary fair price.

This car will be a long term project and as soon will sell my 20VT will be updating this thread. Few pictures below.

  9. Just had my car valued by "we buy any car" and was quoted a massive £445 for my 92 vr6. Said they would buy it straight away as well. Bargain. Thinking of selling now if its worth that much

Will give You £449 and a can of bear, I mean beer :D

  10. I can't help with exact specs but your looking at making it bomb proof so new rods pistons bolts big valve head crank should be ok lots of balancing then size the turbo to the power you want to achieve. It will be laggy and may not boost till over 4k-5k then it's brakes suspension etc and a clutch then get ready to keep killing the box and driveshafts lol.

Won't have any change from 15k as I am scratching the surface with that lot.

I know all of that, just thinking about many things so maybe somebody will help me with full spec what was done successful in the past.
