i just purchased some of those top mounts the other day to go on with my coilovers, ended up useing the old ones as i wasnt sure which way to fit them :lol:

is that right?

It's nothing easier mate. There is only one way to fit them. Bearing side is going down on suspension leg, side with black insert (its bearing)

Slowly due to unexpected lack of tools and parts but I will manage.

Today have changed one front leg top mount on orange polyurethane one. Without impact wrench I wouldn't manage. I had buy it specially for this job but will use it again to do other side of suspension.

Finally got them from dealer

Rears are 2.01 +VAT

Front are 1.75 +VAT

you'll be needing item 3 in the pic then.

Yes, I know :) Just think can I get them somewhere else except dealer but looks that dealer is the best and cheapest way this time.

Is the grade 10,9 same as original in front and 12,9 in rears ?? Anybody can help ?? Are they tough enough ??

Yep - £1 for 4 in Halfords and they are the same bolt front and rear.

I'm not talking about caliper to carrier bolt. I need carrier to hub bolts.

Yep. Permanent export in V5. Fill it and send away. Did it when left my S3 in Poland.

Have some time of work and weather is fine so far and decided to do some things on my car. Front hub off, rear brakes off. Due to small garage can do one side at the time. Without Irwins I couldn't do this job.

Halfords do them as a 'Brake Pad Fitting Kit' ;)

You can try on ebay or buy my one and forget about searching.

Finally get myself a genuine cable. It works as should, not like cheap imitation.

It took me 3,5 hours to do all the job from beginning to finish.

Emu it took you 3.5 hours? A garage quoted my 10 hours labour. I might have to drive up from London to Scotland :notworthy: :help:

To be honest its about 30 minutes to replace all parts in sunroof (of course if You know how) if You don't it shouldn't take You more than 1 hour, rest of the time is getting sunroof of the car and putting it back.

Job done.

It has obd port under plastics surrounding gearbox leaver, where KARMAN sign is, remove it and You will find obd port

Best fit of moonroof has seat ibiza 1995 model. I mean al this same like 1995 as I'm not sure in what year period they were made. Next one is passat b4, and the most sticky is golf mk3.

Are Your alloys 17" ??
