I've own this car since end of last year but is time to show and say something about it. This is my 4th raddo in my live and second 20V Turbo.
That was the first one. First 20VT in Poland, where I come from. http://www.corrado-database.nl/index.ph ... ser&id=606
Now something about present one.
First registration 30 10 1995
Black LO41
It was 2.0 16V converted on 1.8 20V Turbo coming from 2000 Seat Ibiza Cupra. Engine Code AQX.
Specification:
AQX 1.8T
Full Qpeng management giving 200 BHP
1.8T gearbox from this same car
Big FMIC
G60 front brakes
Solid front engine mount
Forgee motosport GMCL007P recirculating dump valve
2,5" downpipe into stainless centre & middle then standard backbox
Spal race cooling fan
Raceland Front Coilovers
JOM Rear Coilovers
Boost Gauge mounted on dashboard
AFR Sensor mounted in dashboard
Borbet A 7,5x16 with 195/45/16 YOKOHAMA tyres
In.Pro M3 style White/Red Rear Lights
Black side indicators
FK badgeless grill
Since I've own it I changed intake fuel pump for VR6 one, change Recaro interior on leather one (pictures later one). replace rear coilovers due to MOT, and change one of brake pipes. I've got lot of plans but we will see what happened.

That's mad

Aberdeen 2 x Corrado so far :)
-
You're absolutely right. You don't need an MOT to drive to an MOT test centre, provided you're actually on your way for a booked in MOT.What about if car was sorn and has no tax, and You can't but tax when car was sorn without mot certificate. Can I drive without tax and mot if driving on booked mot test ??

Ok, ill take it. You free Sunday night?
Ok. are Yours. PM with details posted.
-
I might be interested in that, no postage required.
If smudge is not interested is Yours but he has first bid if he want it. 25 quid collected.
-
I've got what You need. 3 pieces in very good condition. 30 quid posted.
-
Now days is very hard to sell Corrado, specially VR6. I'm struggle myself to sell my one and best offers are around 1500 quid for 94 VR6 in Blackberry in very good condition expect some body scratches. If I were You would sell it as it is because You newer get back money what You put to convert it to manual or fix it. You can try change gearbox oil but investing more money in it is not a good option if You have to sell it anyway.

i'm lookin at getting the 20vt conversion done to my 1.816v corrado, where are the best places to take my car for this conversion? and what price would i expect to pay for it?i'd be looking to just drop it off and pick it up finished, i have seen £4750 quoted by tsr, i could almost get a tt or s3 for that price, is their anywhear more reasonable and recomended.
Buy my 20vt for 3500, sell yours one and put saved money in my car and you will get very mint corrado for lowest price than yours conversion.
-
Nice but still prefer old Corrado :)
-
I'd start by rewriting this to make it legible...After that, I'd probably sell the S3 and use the cash on the C
Sorry, English is not my first language.
Will not sell S3, because there I've got every single part needed to conversion.

Always wanted Corrado quattro. From some time I had owned 350 bhp 2000 Audi S3. From the beginning car was bought as a doner for my Corrado but I really like to drive it. Had a big dilemma what to do ?? There is no point to keep Corrado and Audi and it's very hard to sell my Corrado for a right money. I have 2 options. Sell my 2 Corrado not getting for them even what I paid and put some money in S3 (needs about 1,5 grand to be perfect) ans save the rest. Second option is Convert one of my existing Corrado with S3 stuff and keep second one as a daily on conversion time (about a 6-10 months). Sell the rest of S3 what cover conversion labour payment. On the end I will stay with 2 Corrado, so could sell daily and buy some TDI and keep Corrado S3 as a weekend toy. What would You do ??
-
Last time I was quoted 400 quid for full set. To much for me, for this price could get climatronic from some salvage vw or audi, yes bit more complicated to fit but worth.
250 should be reasonable price or maybe am I wrong ??

tried different plug , have not changed the coil pack.the petrol is not getting out of the cylinder at all, has to be a valve problem surely ?It looks simply, petrol is not burned, so there is no spark. Try to change coilpack.
-
Had similar problem but already changed plugs leads and coilpack and problem gone.
Check coilpack, it can help.

Try Budget beside Mountholly Roundabout in Aberdeen, Powis Place or St or something, You will find without problems. When last time spoke to a MOT tester guy said to me that I suppose to have CAT after 94 or 95, can't remember, BUT if the car will pas emission test without cat he's willing to give MOT certificate.

Golf mk2, mk3, Jetta, Vento Part number 1H6 863 447 but are shorter about 3 cm so need a pair.

Forgot to tell You that I've resolve a problem long time ago. Was very easy to fix but very hard to find. Bad set up of actuator which was giving to much turbo pressure and ecu was cutting off everything. Now car is flying and has many unnecessary new parts :)
-
I know that some of You already done Corrado 4x4 and some of You if doing it now. That was my dream when I first bought this car long time ago and slowly come true. I hope. So. What can I do and what can't I do to pas MOT test with quattro. I've notice that some Corrado had boot floor cut off and weld in place some 4x4 floor, golf syncro or audi s3, etc. Some had rear suspension modification without boot floor cutting off. In conclusion what is allowed and what not ??
Thanks for every help.

Lot's of time was thinking to sell it and buy normal car but it's stronger than me :)
-
I know that in Kingsweels, but newer used, that's why I'm asking.
If I would be sure that is coilpack in 100% I would replace it but I'm not 100% sure.
-
My VR6 is ill :( For me is not running on all 6 cylinders, probably coilpack problem.
I'm looking for good mechanic or garage who know VR6 problems in Aberdeen.
Everyone who know something or somebody in Aberdeen give me some directions where to go ?? Please.
