Will be bleeding my recently fitted replacement unit very soon, will let you know how I get on.
-
You would need to bleed it at the abs pump and still probably at the calipers Rog,

Evening all, I would like a nice close up picture or 2 of the area in front of the gearbox by the rad fans and the routing of the wire to the black temp sensor on the stat housing. THANKYOU :) Daren

Have to say also Chris that the thread for your old car has come in quite useful with my rebuild, you took a lot of nice close up pictures :thumbleft:

Great stuff, thanks Chris I knew it went somewhere down there but wasn't sure which position :)

I'm trying to work out where/how this heat shield locates ? I know it's on or near the rear engine mount but can't quite work out where it locates. Thankyou for any help :) Daren

Looks like a lot of car for the money, I imagine it would have cost a packet to have all that work done, Assuming it's been done well... :)

Looks very good, did you find it straight forward to do?

Had some nice shiney re-plated bits arrive Monday Many thanks to Ian (Gloster ox) for getting them done for me :thumbleft: Have to say Ian that it's your fault I am down this re-furb road! because it was soon after I had the bonnet catches from you that I thought I had better get the rest to match ! And now I am at this stage 8)

Put one aside for me please Ron, will drop by sometime soon and pick it up, thanks

I would have said no to early cars having beige/cream leather, it wasn't unique to Storms though , just fitted to later cars, Could be wrong on that though :)

Car looks good on track :)

Still busy with work & life ! but grabbed an hour or 2 today to get crossmember & a couple of other bits back in. The mounting brackets for the Abs pump etc will be back very soon and then it should be all systems go for getting it running by Christmas (i hope)!

Not achieved a great deal this week as pesky work has been busy but I managed to paint the gearbox and spruce up the front shocks and springs. Used 'Alumablast' on the gearbox as recommended to me and it is very good indeed. Will be using it on a few other bits too. So been bringing some bits home ready for the re-build and now our conservatory looks like this :) good job it's not really used in the winter !

Welcome 8) pics please

Likely heater matrix leaking :( Is your coolant level dropping, carpet wet ?
