Love a well engineered OE looking bay with no gaudy colours, chrome or polish. Hi spec but low key :salute:

Getting there now, after a visit to DG Autotech pretty much all the work under the car is now complete, you can't beat these guy's enthusiasm and commitment to provide a great service. Really looking forward to some sunny days, just lots of cleaning now and waiting for the return of the rear seats, and need to source a few items of increasingly fragile trim :brickwall:

Any progress to report? Would love to come across and see this as you must be local, be awesome to see a restored Campaign
-
Be good to see the Corrado progress, with the speed Paint werks turned around Darren's R32 you could be onto a winner!
-
Ok, need info on width and offset of wheels, tyre size, model of Corrado (plus axle?), ride height and where its rubbing.
-
More info on car, wheel spec, ride height etc required before you can expect sensible opinions

The cat heat shield is not to protect the car, its to stop the heat of the cat burning up the ground when parked so its no problem to just remove it

Goodness me Shaun that engine bay is rediculous, i used to think mine was clean....Congrats on the win, lets be totaly honest here the only thing stopping you winning every going trophy is the ferry crossing...
Funny but true, superb car, looks stunning with the CHs and the fresh paint 8)

No its not stock, its the one i referred to above, i'm afraid its sold. I think I have a new short OE style mast somewhere
-
Back to stock now, it was an aftermarket VW fit version of the Honda S2000 aerial, can't recall name atm, was a US manufacturer
-
Tyres are Dunlop SP9000 205/40R17, should get the tyres on soon and the wheels will be on the car this Summer but will probably run my NOS set for the run out to Stanford Hall.

Cheers Zak, the idea is OE with a twist rather than full on custom finish. They were done by The Polisher and the centres are powdercoated in a finish similar to that used on modern Audis, a little more dynamic/lively than the OE finish but nothing mad, more subtle than chrome or chrome powdercoat.

I've had 6 Capris from Mk1s through Mk3, my favourite being a 1980 2.0S in Silver with fishnet Recaros, RS 4 spokes it was superb. Some things don't change too much though
Silver Coupe---- check
Recaro interior------ check
RS wheels------- check
I turned 17 on the day (or day after) the seat belt regulation came in. Also I was a member of the Tufty club

LOL I can understand the colour treatment for common or garden rims to make them look different, but genuine 17" BBS LMs on a Corrado don't have to try to be different, class is eternal
-
Hi I'm calling about the Corrado you have for sale, could you tell me a little more about the car?
What would you like to know?
What size breasts does it have?

Stage 4 to stage 5 charger worth it?

Good to see Furks car in safe hands, screaming out for wheels though, the steels do it no justice. Are you going to start a thread in the members gallery?
