I have just ordered a H4 kit off ebay. But I'm a little concerned as to how the main beam H3 spot lights will function. Do I need another kit for them? Can I run the standard H3 spots along side the HID H4's? HELP!!

Can anyone help me out? Just wanted to check which bulbs are fitted in the headlamps. H4 is main and dipped but are the spotlights H2 or H3? Thanks

No, I bought it off someone on the forum although I did wire it in myself but it's quite easy to wire in. As for checking it, I wouldn't know where to start. Is there a diagram on here do you know?

Anyone suggest where I can buy a pair of replacement front fog lights? Apart from the main stealer, they want £120 for each side OUCH!!

Many thanks for your reply. I have checked the loom and it all seems fine. I'm beginning to think the short maybe somewhere in the wiring for the secondary main beams. I have taken the upgraded loom out & used the original connections, main beam doesn't work at all.

Any tips? Works fine until I put the main beam on and then the fuse blows. I have temporarily put a 25amp in there but I know that's bad practice as I have had a relay melt down with the heat generated. Clearly I have a fault but how would I check it? Any tips gratefully received.

Just a quick update. I took the wiring diagram to a local auto electrician, he fitted it and charged me £45. problem solved. Wish I had done it years ago, I'd prolly have around 24hrs of my life back

OK, thanks for the comments. I have an upgraded loom but I have a problem with it. The main beam fuse keeps blowing. I have 100/80 H4's and 100watt for the secondary lights, any suggestions?

Hi all. Thinking of fitting an HID conversion to the 'rado. has anyone done this? Is it possible to buy a kit that does both the H4 and the main beam H3's?

It's a new starter motor, I had it "fixed" a couple of years ago but it didn't solve the issue. The garage that did it had it for days, I think he replaced some relays which cured it for a while but now it's back. What do you mean "Relay Mod"?

ta for the reply. I have no idea what to search for though. You mean the ignition switch as in, where I put my key? As far as I know, it's never been changed.

So my problem is, when I have driven her for a decent length of time and stop, she just won't start. All I hear is a click from the starter. I've had a new starter motor fitted but something is telling me it's a solenoid or maybe a coil or some other electrical component that is failing once hot. Anyone else had this issue? Any advice gratefully received.

I've just had a similar problem. Looks like its the ABS pump, have a friend in the garage trade who put the diagnostic thingy on. About £500 new but there's a few people on ebay breaking 'rado's and they seem to be going for around 60 quid plus P&P

In my case, just in front of the nearside wheel. Just in case anyone is still searching. Life with my 'rado would be so much easier with a set of ramps
