  1. Alex, it's pretty good. Hopefully should have a pic soon. Think Vaughan may be away...
  2. Vaughan will post a pic up for you- both are good.
  3. Jim, Ian may have one- got a feeling there was one in a box of stuff he had off me a couple of months ago.
  4. Michael, have you had all the isv pipes off and checked for foam? Also worth checking the throttle pipe for splits underneath. Blue temp sensor is another possibility.
  5. One of the reasons CrazyDave turbo'd his VR was because his mate's remapped mk1 Octavia 1.8T (not even a vRS) beat him on a drag strip...
  6. Pretty sure I've got one. Will have a look when I get home later.
  7. My old Octavia vRS was mapped to around 220bhp and was faster in a straight line than ANY of my Corrado's. My Storm was approx 215bhp. Corrado would have won around the twisties as the Octy had completely standard suspension, which was mostly set up for comfort  my current S3 is a completely different story however... The VR is a quick car, and a lot depend on the driver. I do think a lot of people have rose tinted specs though- I've been guilty of this in the past.
  8. Would think the gti will get away, not by much though.

  10. This happens loads! I sold a few of mine too, but thankfully kept most of it (although I never had that much in the first place!). I think a lot of people are under the misconception that all the old stuff is worth a bomb, whereas it's simply not the case. So much depends on condition and some figures are way rarer/more sought after than others.
  11. Unfortunately they probably never will be. There's so much of the modern stuff about and loads of people went mad buying loads and hiding them away thinking they may be worth a bit in the future. The reason why some of the old stuff is worth a lot, is that back in the day, no one kept them on the cards etc, so mint condition/mint on card items are rae as. No one had any idea that they would be worth something. @ Jamie! Tenner maybe? What's your Paypal address? Are you a collector?
  12. They're modern, so not really what I'm after. Best bet is to stick them on Ebay. May get a few quid for the Clone Gunship. None of the figures is worth much, I'm afraid :(
  13. Have recently got back into collecting again and would be interested in anything vintage (especially Palitoy/Kenner 3 3/4" figures and ships) from 1970's & 80's. Let me know what you've got! :)
  14. Would be a good idea to get a more detailed list up with prices. This will help your sales and it's much better to sell on here than eBay! ;)
  15. Just over an hour left to get your hands on a lovely nipple :)
  16. Well done on the quick sale Vaughan. Real mixed emotions for sure...
