YOu could try leaving the mirror in the freezer for a while to harden up the glue but considering the cost of these it's not a great loss if it does go south.

Location: Price: 1.00 GBP Date added to Classifieds: 23rd Jan 2012 Description: On the look out for a pair of front leather seats heated or not in reasonable condition to go into the wifes Golf. By reasonable I mean I can live with a few scuffs, fades and what not but no cuts tears and fag burns :) Grey prefered but will take black or even re coloured ones as that is what I plan to do with them anyway.

I had exactly the same symptoms with mine a while back that led me to change sensors, expansion tank, flush coolant and so on. it turned out i was barking up the wrong tree completely the culprit turned out to be the plug on the gauges had worked loose. only happened intermittently and no water loss or anything. Thinking about it mine stopped when i turned the lights off as well so must have been shorting somewhere ??

Are they likely to remake things like the chair tilt adjusters (535881253) (535881254) seat foams or even covers ?? -

can i change all the locks and ignition barrel??
beastie4126 replied to cptkirk's topic in General Car Chat
Nope he means you can actually retumble the door locks to match the key for the ignition lock thus making all of your locks open with one key. have a butchers at - http://wiki.the-corrado.net/re_tumbing_locks.html -

Max Powder wheel refurb - Hemel Hempstead

Looked pretty smart when you popped round today m8, reckon they will be getting the Golf wheels to do soon -
Hi m8, If I can haggle you down to £60 I'll take them and collect next saturday 4th Feb. Let me know
-
nowt wrong with Febi units as far as I am concerned, especially as there is one in my car at the moment and has been for the last few thousand miles. From memory it's not to big a job, just need to slacken off or remove the tensioner take the belt out of the way then remove the old pump clean up etc. If your going to do it might be worth while sticking a new belt on at the same time.
-
Are you sure that it's from the main pump? should not have touched that doing what you have listed was done?? probably leaking from the o ring on the engine side crack pipe and trickling down and round. I'll be working on the wifes Golf on Saturday if you want a 2nd set of eyes to look at it.

Sounds like a plan - I might even put the kettle on :)

I need a cheap set of wheels done for the wifes mk2 to make them presentable and they are right on my doorstep. The RX's on the Rado I took all the way down to Lepsons in Kent to get done and they did a brilliant job getting the dings and buckle out of one of the wheels. Would be keen for some pics if you have time.

Neil do the Facelift Front Grille's come with VW centre badge? as I'm rather tempted to switch my debadged one. Also is it possible to get the plastic clips that the rear VW badges slot into as my current badge is bonded on ?? -
That could been extremely nasty, not sure I would trust them again. Question: Wheel refurb place in Hemel - where if you don't mind sharing?

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...

Get yourself some Irwins if you don't have them already as you will no doubt need them. -
Nosing around the bay this morning and came accross this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ford-escort-mk1-inner-wings-genuine-ford-very-rare-rs-mexico-bda-rally-race-/160713007299?_trksid=p5197.m1374&_trkparms=algo%3DPI.WATCH%26otn%3D12%26po%3DLCA%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D5598925159870917166 Just how long will you have to lock away Corrado bits before they start to be worth that kind of money, 10 - 20 years ?
-
Stu, City link attempted delivery of the steering column today according to the tracking so you may well have to arrange to collect it from depot tomorrow or they will redeliver it on Monday.
-
I'm after some too - group cable tie buy time to:)
-
Hanging is not good enough for these scumbags!! Stu I don't know where your based but I have a steering column and probably the lock mech etc out of the valver I dismantled which you can have for the postage.
