Nah Jim i cant get any more at that price, they were ex display and my manager hasnt got a clue what they were worth, i just offered him £200 cash and the rest is history! If anyone wants to come down to my store they get 25% of 17" and over and they can use my 15% discount too!

Ive optimax used since ive had the car (used BP Ultimate twice, noticed no difference) so cant compare it normal unleaded, seeing as the 1.8 16v should really only have 98+ I'll ony be able to compare it to 100RON.........If we ever get it over here :twisted:

VW advise to use the silver on the valvers, its really nice oil and the price is even nicer :-P

Ive been very luck to drive a P1 on numerous occasions, words cannot describe how quick they are and how right they feel!, it feels absolutley awesome, you get punched back into your seat in every gear! The handling is sublime aswell. I think its the best looking impreza too, but only with the grey oz wheels instead of the pimpin' gold ones 8)

Would defo chop any C in for a P1, Maybe not a nice campaign though :wink:

Theyre not actually BBS dirct their the UK distribution company for them named Motrosport wheels. Ive dealt with them alot through my part time job and they are useless! I got a lovely set of brand new 17" RZ with toyo's last week for £200 , call it a perk of the job :wink:

I had majorish problems a few months ago and that was all checked and seemed fine, maybe it just needs a good clean up?

For the past couple of mornings when ive gone to start the car it catches and starts then the revs just drop then it dies...... After a few restarts its fine. On the way back from work yesterday, I started the car and it felt like the revs were gona drop and stall so i revved it a bit and got it to idle at 500rpm, it should be 1000rpm, after a minute of driving the revs shot up to 2000rpm on their own and bounced between 2/2.5k until i restarted the car! When i back off the throttle sometimes the car is a bit kangarooey aswell!!!

Any ideas??? Cheers people

Over the weekend i got a bout 175 miles from half a tank of fuel in my 1.8 16v, about 29 mpg, I was taking it easy on the way down to the coast but on the way back I wasnt driving with fuel in mind going from 80-100mph for most of the trip back down the A3, so i probably could of done better!

My town mpg is always only about 18 mpg, which means that living in london and only putting optimax in equals very high fuel bills!! The only 'mod' im running though is 17"'s.

Im goin on friday,really looking forward to it now 8)

Ive got a set of 17" bk299's that look really cool on corrado's, due to a very very very lucky bargain i recently got some new bbs rims for no money at all, so, I will let my ols wheels go for next to nothing! pm me and we will talk money if your interested!!

the bore on the wheel is the measurement that brookesy stated above, i take it it will be fine then?

In the next fey days i will be putting on my lovely brand new bbs wheels, theres a sticker on the back of em that says only use them with the appropriate centering rings, myne didnt come with any (i got them for £250 brand new with toyos!), a guy at a tyre shop said its not too much of a problem if you put em on without them.

Anyone know if hes right and what the implications are with having them without centering rings?? cheers guys 8)

brake fluid?? I wasnt expecting that!! is that light only for the brakes and the handbrake then??

Recently if i rev the car over 2k the warning light will flash and sometimes stay on until the revs drop again, the problem is intermitent and has only been doing it recently. Its the light that comes on when the handbrake is on, the car feels absolutley fine though, if it wasnt for the light i would think nothing is wrong!

Any ideas?? cheers guys.

Ok then mate cheers for that, what would it mean if i did loose teeth off the flywheel? how could of this happened?
