Hi after John at JMR sent me these pics today and some discussion i think i need a new G60 blower........... ASAP looking for a very recently re-built G60 (must have paperwork to support this). money waiting. Cheers

yeah i think i'll get a fresh belt for the 68mm (may aswell) yeah Bartek RSR is a bit cheaper and the same i guess cheers for the heads up. What about the solid tensioner (available from G-werks) to replace the original vag unit? anyone running one? @mike 2006 think i'll probs leave the manifold as i was told the original was pretty damn good and im not going for crazy power at the moment im guessing that you just speak to darren about the setup you have and he'll make the chip suit? should be a bit quicker than she was before i get the rebuild after all the above is done. cheers

I might just get a new belt anyway for peice of mind. doesnt the BBM RSR build up boost allot faster ? due to its smaller size over the fat baffle box? does G-werks use the SNS chips? cheers

Hello all Im just in the middle of taking my charger off as its going to JMR for a stage 4 rebuild currently it has the standard outlet and i just measured the charger pully as 72mm i know that the BBM RSR is very highly regarded so i'll be getting one before i put it all back together . but is it worth getting a 68 mm pully over the 72mm ? also will i need to change the belt for a smaller belt ? i noticed that g-werks sell a chip + belt and pully kit.(i have absolutely no idea what chip mine is running currently) also my belt tensioner rubbers look a little worn ? i also noticed that G-werks sell a solid tensioner? just want to get the lo-down on all the above really (advice please) cheers guys

Today I had my rears swaped for a fresh pair of Continental sport contact 2's 195/45/15 and they inspire confidence with loads of grip (good because it was chucking it down)and better ride quality. Fitted to BMW BBS Rz's 15"-7" Must say im really pleased with them. got them from kwik-fit for £177 inc vat probably gonna get the same on the fronts too. :)

Just the vent faces where you angle air flow up down left right (they just pop out) £15 posted ? a pic of the gear knob would be great as mine is pretty worn cheers

right so basicly after replacing all exhaust mounts and hangers i still have a rattle which i now know is coming from the rear brake disc gaurd. (god dammit) Currently its just floating around rattleing even when the wind blows which is very annoying. Can i just remove this rusty peice of crap and get it replaced when its MOT time? cheers guys

maybe my current rocker is from a different engine then, if u guys have the sunken type? but my current rockers tatty look does fit the millage on the car?. mine is an August 91 model if that helps?

Hello all Got myself a new rocker cover today to replace my filthy original one and noticed that the new rocker has a more sunken oil cap while my original sits level to the rest of the rocker. is this just the difference from 91 and 92 models ? cheers guys

Hello all Right...... basicly i was getting my car up ready for the GTI fest this sunday and the throttle caple has snapped so i have been to vindis and ordered a new one (£31 inc vat) which is arriving tomorrow morning at 8:30 and im pretty sure i can do this myself but i would like to get some input from you guys about anything that i might run into..? how long it will take ect?? Im going up to the pod tmorrow as my dad is running his front engined slingshot dragster for the first time on the run what you brung saturday (its a 352 CI 1988 chevy vette V8) (i would really like mine to be there with my G60 for its maiden voyage) and im staying the night at the pod for the VW fest on sunday. massive longshot but if anyone local to cambridge would want to gimme a hand it would be greatly appreciated. please help ! cheers guys
