Wheel fitment

Hmm, I've seen that someone has 15x9's fitted to their corrado with ET0 and they look ok? Here is a picture of said car (I hope they don't mind me using this picture)- Also, my wheels are BBS RZ's off an E30 BMW I think. The offset is quite low already and theyre in the arches...
2. Im after, 1x drivers side roof rubber thing with the plastic ends, and the little screw on clips that hold it on, The passenger side cover for the front bumper which covers the towing eye thing, A set of KR fuel lines, from the metering head to the injectors (including 5th injector). Cash waiting for the right parts!

Wheel fitment

Im looking at getting some new wheels although the sizes are a little strange. They are 15x8 but the offset is ET0. I was planning on running 195/45/15 tyres with these and wondered if they would go on ok? The arches will be rolled prior to fitting them. Does anyone run wheels with a similar specification?
4. Don't be scared of doing the matrix yourself. Everyone on here seems to think it's a pain in the ass, but i thought it was pretty easy to do! Don't even need the dash out, you can maneuver the heater out the passenger side of the dash.
5. Was gonna say, aren't they all supposed to be run on 98RON? My 1.8 16v has 98RON on the filler flap, and my friends 2.0 16v and G60 do also....
6. For future reference the dash doesn't need to come out to do the heater matrix, can be done without touching the drivers side of the dash basically. I would check all your wiring around the fusebox and ignition. I had a similar problem recently, turned out that the big red wire from the ignition had frayed so much than when I had moved it, it had split.
7. Mine sits bang on 80c all the time when driving, when sat in traffic the hottest it has ever got on the gauge is 100c. Oil temp is normally 95-98c when driving, just over 100c when in traffic, this is on a 2.0 16v (RE2000)
8. Went and got a supersprint exhaust for it from the scrappy, stopped the spoiler from squeaking when it goes down, and gave it a good old thrashing!
9. Mine didn't work when I bought the car. Turned out they weren't plugged into the switch in the door card lol!

16V bits

Im after the brackets that hold the HT lead cover thing to the inlet manifold/head, and also a drivers side roof rubber and the plastic bits that hold it on. Cheers!
11. And came across this! $1200 for a front bumper just because it has the european plate recess?! I gotta start selling my things on that forum and paying the shipping to Canada! http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14522 On the other hand, does anyone know where I can get the US/Candadian rear numberplate plynth from?
12. There is a set on ebay at the moment, £30 I think. They will go up in price though, pretty hard to get hold of now!
13. As above, after a standard or aftermarket exhaust for my 16v. I have an aftermarket one at the moment but don't like the style of it! Cheers!
14. Send it back? Clearly doesn't fit properly!
15. Ipad in a golf, looks factory!
16. I would strip the whole shell down, remove any rust etc, then get it Acid dipped and galvanized. I'd then re-spray it myself (only costs me for materials), and enjoy having a rust free Corrado!
17. That would've been me. Was I stopped with the bonnet up? Saw a Blue/Grey one parked up then you drove by and gave me a beep!
18. So can I replace the Hall sender? Any other ways of telling if it's fudged? I thought the car would run like a bag of turd with the hall sender not working properly? Also, will it be the clocks that could be potentially broken, or just the cable?
19. Right, having issues with the spoiler going up and down. It goes up and down on the button, but not automatically. I've changed the relay for a known working one, but to no avail. It sometimes goes up at around 60-70 on the motorway, then goes up and down again in quick sucession, it basically has a mind of it's own at higher speeds. I was thinking maybe it was the speedo cable, as the needle on the clocks is jumpy from 0-20/30mph, goes up and down like the speedo drive is buggered or something? Do they have an electronic speedo, or is it cable driven? Anyone have any suggestions? The car is 1989 with a 16v KR engine in. Cheers, Tom
20. Im after a pair of the clips that go on the roof rubbers. They are the front ones, and act as like a stop for the roof rubbers. Also after some Early speaker grills for the doorcards, a cigarette lighter socket, and a speedometer drive for a 1.8KR? Let me know if anyone is getting rid of these!
21. Id start with the blue temperature sensor. Always cause problems on vw's when they go, will be about £10 from gsf.
22. Yep, does shift! Got loads of problems sorted now, seems the seller wasn't that truthful when I asked him some things about the car! So many sensors were unplugged from the engine, vacuum hoses not connected up, all the electrics were missing from inside the drivers door handle so the central locking didn't work, loads of little bits! Doing the heater matrix today, spent all of last night ripping out 2 alarms that the car had fitted to it!? Neither of them worked, and the wiring loom was a right state, sorted it all out now though!
23. I got a 1.8 16v the otherday and there are a few electrical issues. First off there is a single wire by the airbox which has a spade connector on the end, I took a look at a friends 16v and there should be a sensor bolted to the rocker cover in the left hand corner (on the inlet side), what is this sensor and does anyone know the part number for it? Think it might be an ambient air temperature sensor or something? Next there is a plug on the throttlebody which has nothing plugged into it. After some digging around I found the wiring for it, but no plug on the end of the wiring. I got a plug off my friend but need to know which order the wires go in? There is a blue one, a black one and a black/yellow one, the plug my friend gave me has a black one, a yellow one and a brown one (iirc), which connect to which? Cheers guys!
