1. i already have the pulley and have told them the work that i have done... thay will make up a chip to match anything you have done ed: head work, cams etc
2. both are easy enough to do i will do a thread on how to change the chip when i get my new one in the next week or so
3. chip and pulley is about £190 from jabba sport.... there are other companies such as G werks, SNS and BBM who also do similar products... Its all down to personal preference
4. Just ordered 2 cans of Wurth fuel additive and 2 cans of Wurth injector cleaner... this has been long overdue as it feels a little tired some times on cold starts. Also checked my boost reading using the MFA... 2390 on the MFA :thumbleft: so glad ive got red top injectors coming as i thought there was something not right... a remap can only do so much for it. Its going to really fly when i get all the bits together (If JABBA sport ever get back to me about a chip for it ) ---------- Post added at 06:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:14 PM ---------- thats about 19/20 psi by my estimates
5. If I remember correctly the writing on it should be in german. Can't tell from that image as I'm on my phone atm
6. Post up a pic when you get a chance and I'll compare to how I remember mine looking
7. The vac line on mine runs across the top of the head by the intake and isv
8. It's one of those weird corrado gremlins. It usually sorts itself. Could always try resetting the clocks by disconnecting the battery
9. that should work too.... any switchable 12V line is good... all down to personal preference
10. have you spliced the inverter into the loom in the correct place??? ignition live is where mine has gone
11. i missed one today on the uk ebay... went for £16
12. took my G60 to get the tracking done. watched the guy drive it onto the ramp and crack the front splitter on the stops at the end of the ramp. as he got out the car i proceeded to climb in and drive it back off and go straight back into the office and asked to speak to the manager for a replacement part... Took about 30 secs for them to cough up for a new part of the web... I now only go to specialists when i need work done... luckily there is a VAG specialist over the road from work and one of them owns a Red 16V
13. was cleaning the car today and mine appears to have vanished... was in there on sunday whilst i was at a car show... have a feeling someone has nicked it :nono:
14. the title says it all really. Colour not important as i can get it shot blasted and painted. must have all the fittings
15. i didnt attach anything to the throttle body... just adjusted the butterfly so that it is open for less time ---------- Post added at 08:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:58 PM ---------- yes my clocks do light up... both the dials and the digital parts
16. i went to a motorbitz.... i believe some bike shops may do them too. would advise getting one that is threaded all the way through and using a short bolt to clamp it through the lever and you can the use the screw that will come with it to clamp the cable.. as you can see from the image below... excuse the zip ties havent got round to making the 'L' shaped bracket for the barrel adjuster yet
17. if your top mounts are sitting proud (any more than about 10mm) i would take the top bolt and top hat off... then you should see a grooved nut that holds all the rest of the suspension to the strut.... i would see if you can wind this down any further... when i did mine it got rid of all the knocking and twitching. think there is a photo of one of my topmounts in my thread in the members rides section. you may end up having to replace both top mounts if they have been loose for a while as they will be badly worn on one side and possibly broken as mine was
18. dont know... didnt know there was a nugget g60 down my way until i went for the interview... have seen a nugget 16V around a few times
19. really made my day means i can afford all the shiny bits i want to buy the G60... it deserves it after that performance
20. turned up for an interview for a new job. parked in between a nugget G60 and a Karman MK1 Golf. turns out the MD owned the MK1 and the interviewer owned the nugget. Needless to say they both commented that they had seen me turn up and made a good impression  Got a phone call about an hour after offering me the job at a higher salary than advertised :thumbleft:
21. that would be my bet too... had the same issue last week after cleaning the engine bay after doing my boost delete... had to soak the sender in circuit board cleaner to get it back working... must have been loads of water in there some how
22. managed to get mine open by cutting about 6cm of the outer cable housing. then bolted a solderless nipple to the lever fed the cable through and tightened the nipple on it. took a few attempts to get it to open both sided, ended up pulling the lever towards me the pulling the cable with pliers till the bonnet fully opened and tightening the nipple up... now opens every time :) am going to make a bracket that mounts on the lever with a barrel adjuster on it for a better and neater fit
23. what length does the cable have to be?? i have a couple of rear brake cables lying around they are about 1800mm
24. mine has just broken... the 'S' shaped bit that goes through the lever has snapped... im going to investigate it tomorrow when i can get it on a level driveway... hopefully should be able to pull it with a pair of pliers and ill use a grub screwed nipple to re attach it to the lever what solution did you come up with???
