  1. ^^ what he said :D Look at some of the Members rides threads and see the lengths some have gone to, all to keep their 'Rado on the road.... as annoying and testing as it is, in the long run the effort and expandature is worth it for when it all comes together
  2. sound to me like imobiliser
  3. Heres mine not a big fan of the clear lights am looking to replace eventually
  4. have done and bumped a couple of times with no joy :(
  5. New spec headlight switch in place now :) Finally managed to fit the new cross member, was far easier than i thought it was going to be. New 68mm pulley and belt fitted, feels so much more alive now ive done it (again) FMIC was a fail as the slam panel gets in the way of it and i dont want to cut into it. Will have to re-think this one. Managed to shear the banjo bolt for the charger whilst changing the copper washers due to it weeping :(, was lucky that it just unscrewed by hand... nowhere stocked one near me so it was into the shed to machine a replacement... all is good now so no down time for once :). Recieved my old spec sunroof motor today after months of trying to get one relatively cheap. First Aid kit should be here soon (old one got nicked at a car show). Finally a full clean out and wax and polish to make me feel better about it. Off to the body shop on friday to repair the N/S arch after a numpty reversed into me
  6. i have been looking at the 8V ones on ebay... they all apear tohave the oil cap and breather on the opposite sides to what the g60 has. if someone has a old looking one i would take it as im planning on getting it blasted and polished
  7. Thats not too bad... for a ported charger and i am asuming 68mm pulley then you are doing well. Seems you may have a bit of a restriction in your system then if you thinkpower takes a while to kick in. Do you have an after-market RSR outlet?? I have never felt what a G60 is like to drive without one so cant compare, but my power seems pretty instant
  8. would he consider selling it?? is a possibility for me ;)
  9. sounds like an idea for me... mine has gone all soft and crumbles when you touch it. does anybody know if part no: 535 898 123A comes pre cut so you can just stick it straight on or do we have to cut it ourselves??
  10. the usual suspects are either jabba sport or gwerks
  11. the one with an eyebrow spoiler... good spot :thumbleft:
  12. where did you get the rocker cover... ive been searching for a while and have failed miserably
  13. either mirror glass can also be sourced from TVR... can remember which model but the mirror and glass are the same

    G60 rocker cover

    bump... anybody help??
  15. you will be surprised.... unless its rusted badly they are good on emission tests etc... even with decats they seem to meet the required standards (in the uk atleast)
  16. replaced my rusted cross member (both bits of it) the old one snapped in two bits as i removed it. replaced the banjo washers on the charger as it was weeping oil. whilst removing the bolt it snapped, managed to get the other half out of the charger... went to my grandads workshop and machined a new bolt to replace it, was probably the reason why the charger was weeping and glad i caught it when i did. realised the intercooler i was planning on fitting wont be the easiest job in the world so am looking for another one that is a bit smaller to do the same job
  17. something similar to this http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/painted-aluminium-boxes/5287088/ will do the job. All i did was drill 3 holes in it and sealed them with cable glands... ill try to get a pic later (cant find my phone cable right now)

    dash trim peices

i do believe they are the same. the vents are really annoying me as they are the only grey bit of trim left on the car

    dash trim peices

Hi guys, im after a couple of dash trim bits... the small plastic triangles that cover the screws that hold the clock facia in. the two long plastic vent strips that go along under the windscreen. both items in black please
  20. if your clock issue is now fixed i would suspect that the spoiler module is at fault. You can find it by removing the facia odd your clocks and removing the drivers heater module... it is a small black box clipped to the inside of the dash where the spoiler switch is located
  21. 1: Placed my uprated headlight loom in a water tight box. 2: Fitted a new polished battery cover. 3: Replaced old spec headlight switch with new spec one. 4: Moved immobilizer key and light to a hidden location. 5: Replaced blanking plate immobilizer key was in with old spec 'Unleaded only' blanking plate. Tomorrow I change charger pulley back to 68mm after pulley got changed to standard by stealers during service. Saturday (hopefully) fit new front crossmember and cosworth slimline FMIC and pipework and remove standard cooler
  22. I originally had my immobiliser listed as a factory one. When i checked the paperwork it was a clifford after market unit fitted... phoned the insurance with all detalis and more than halved my insurance
