yes they are recommended to run on it. mine still has the original label on the inside of the fuel filler... recommends 98 ron but will run on 95

Hi guys, I'm about to get the rear panel repaired and repainted due to really bad rust 'bubbles' showing... i may be in need of a new set of badges as mine look pretty bad. Any suggestions where i may source a whole set?? Regards, Owen

i have had some dealings with this guy.... his replies are none too helpful and his prices are a bit steep.... if you are after parts i would advise getting them from people on here instead... i have found the prices to be much better and you can guarantee that you will find the right part

red 16V and Black 16V both in Poole red one at about 6pm black one at 7am...seen them a couple of times recently... also a nugget yellow has been spotted by the missus quite a bit been told og a pearl white VR6 quite close too

after some poking around with the wiring... i found a broken connection to my cliford immobiliser... the lock unlock function worked but the second feed to it didnt causing it to dissable the ignition circuit on the ecu... :scratch: think im going to get a new one and sort the wiring under the dash as its a mess... the clifford is like a virus and is tied into everything :bonk:

still no spark.... any other suggestions... garage have washed their hands of it as they cannot solve

i no longer use garages to repair my cars... i have 3 mates who work in small private garages and are some of the best mechanics i have seen (their project cars prove this to me.... one being uk's fastest 1/4 mile Citroen AX) I also have a friend who is a MOT tester.... helps a lot when it comes to lowered + wide wheels. Only thing i ever need to get looked at is tracking... took my car to Pro-tyre.... they charged £100 for 4 wheel alignment and balancing.... managed to slash an intercooler hose and split an outer CV boot (didnt notice this one until i started to get a wobble so took a wheel off to check bolts etc... found shed loads of grease sprayed all over the inside of the arch and alloy)!!!! They have so far denied this despite my coolant being all over the floor in their workshop. To make matters worse they must have taken the G60 out for a 'spin' after doing it... i reset MFA before giving it to them.... miraculously had 34 miles on it after and running at 10.4 MPG!!!!

fuse 4 is for sunroof and rear wiper.... fuse 5 is for both washer jets and front wiper... relay 8 (bottom row 2nd relay) is for wipers they are my thoughts on it.... also check all connectors on the back are fully pushed in

Fuse box. Can't remember which number fuse it is off the top of my head

are your heater controls the early ones... sliders.... or late one dials???

it was pins 19 and 13 have 25 pin ecu... managed to eventually find the pin outs online. have managed to source an ecu part number: 037 906 022 DP..... mine is 037 906 022 EG currently.... i recall seeing somewhere that my one superceeded the one i am buying can any one confirm this... they both have the same bosch part number: 0 261 200 346. the replacement has come off a H reg G60... mine is J reg... shouldnt make too much difference should it??

dont suppose you know which pin(s) the earth comes out of the ecu on.

been down and checked it myself... no signal from ecu to hall sender... wire is good reads 0.2 ohms end to end. going to look at ecu for dry joints internally

Can someone please list all the earth points that are in the engine bay... I am getting the car back tonight... it has been running for 2 days, and has started cutting out again... strikes me as an earthing issue as it is fine when the battery is fully charged

i didnt check it when it was hot.... not sure what state it is in now as havent spoken to the mechanic today

Coil is good... Have had spark from it... Engine earth is good

What engine code did you get that from?? I haven't got the bentley diagram to hand at the moment but a PG engine doesn't need the trigger wire
