  1. It was removed from a 93 vr. All tested working this morning.
  2. I have one. 25 pounds plus postage. I'm expecting about 10 pounds to send it out.
  3. Ill be up for this. My cars in better health that it was the last time one was done at stealth. I shouldn't drop oil everywhere this time.
  4. I have one fitted to mine. There is no reason why it shouldn't fit the bay dimensions are the same
  5. Look at a few of the g60 build threads. Those that have done it went down the DIY route. I bought the bung that the air sensor goes in the got a company to weld it to a pipe with a 19mm take off for the isv. Came in at a fraction of the cost of the parts made by BBM and the likes.
  6. You possibly won't have them. Plug the connector you have into the matching part on the reader cable. A single connector will only give you abs fault codes. Only very late 2+2 cars had ecu diagnostics. If its a g60 the ecu part number should end in eg (that's assuming its the original ecu not a replacement)
  7. One of the best mods I've seen was bike carbs to replace the metering head fuel system. Coupled with kr cams and a fair amount of ignition advance I've seen 180bhp on the rollers.
  8. I have the exact same issue. New cables didn't solve it for me. I suspect its the heater box becoming stiff.
  9. That's the old 2+2 style connector. Some have only 2 wires some have 3 and very late ones have 4 wires.
  10. A custom map done either on rollers or the road will always be better that an off the shelf item. A complete oil cooler kit will see you right
  11. The gains from the SWG kit depends on how far you have gone with other mods. Red injectors can be fitted any time as long as the map is there to suit. As long as you get the correct fitment cooler plate any cooler will do... 13 row seems to do well
  12. Is your ecu hose connected and the correct length? Could also be your lambda probe disconnected or faulty.
  13. Clean the isv. Also I would do the same with the MAF. Not sure is vrs have an idle switch, if so check that it is fully engaging.
  14. The cover comes as part of the SWG air box kit. It replaces the factory cover to allow for the second charger feed
  15. I am now eyeing up another car spotted by a friend to use as a daily runner. If anyone recognises it please chime in! I'm going to track down the owner next week to see what the score is with it as its been sat for 10 months. Non sunroof model too... Only ever seen one in the flesh. Hope the price is respectable.
  16. Been along time without updating this. Well I fried my engine back in April!!! It now has new pistons withe the bores honed and rings matched to them. At the same time I fitted a port and polished head with piper 285 cam. Exhaust ports have been matched to my 4 branch stainless manifold. Aluminium pulleys have also been fitted with a full set of solid engine mounts. A new dash that doesn't have loads of screw holes. Audio scape door pods trimmed to match the rest of the leather.
  17. I've counted about 10 that I see all the time. There are a few more I've yet to spot.
  18. You're local then? Not seen yours about before I don't think
  19. Fitted it earlier. Both windows now work. Had to hit the passenger regulator with a hammer to free it up as it hasn't worked for about a year.
  20. Wow that's on hell of a colour. Is that a factory finish or a custom job?
  21. I'm after a set of heated washer jets... Still got them?
  22. A couple of chargers in my garage one still boxed from the dealer. Spare handle and lock set with matching keys. Script sill covers (saving these until I get it painted) Probably more too
  23. There is a mod that Combe done to the spoiler control module to change the speed at which it comes up. Think the guide was on the Canadian forum it shows you exactly what to do to change the speed.
  24. You will have to let me know on here about such things as I don't own a Facebook!!!
