    lupo wiper arms

Only the Lupo GTI model has the areo type arms and blades
  2. Having eventually made a heated seat loom from two which were in bits, I have three wires to find homes for: One thick black + (I think) One thick brown - (I think) One thin blue and grey - not a clue :? Also I have run 12V through the loom to check the relays before ripping the interior apart. I can hear the relays working OK but only when the positive and negative are reversed :? Any ideas..............
  3. Nice work. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished result.
  4. I can't see it doing much other than perhaps protecting the paint at the point where the seal comes into contact with the body.
  5. Does it look like sellotape?
  6. Who brought the one which was for sale a couple of years ago?
  7. Having found out to my cost, Trilock locking wheel nut relacement keys are no longer available. Even the Main Dealer admitted they were crap and made of cheese :!: My advice would be to get them replaced before you end up in a lay by with a flat and with no way of getting your wheels off.
  8. I had similar problems with a non genuine screen. Two pattern screens later and the problems were stiil there. All was OK in the end when they gave in and fitted a VAG one.
  9. I would go for a Mk2 8 valver. I had one for three years and loved every minute. On the other hand I had a Mk3 8 valver for less than a month as I was bored of it within a week.
  10. Sounds good. I look forward to seeing the results. Did you paint the calipers?
  11. This always worked for my std alarm...Open the boot, bonnet, glove box and both doors. Disconnect the battery for about 30 secs. Reconnect the battery whilst pressing the arm button on the key fob. The alarm will bleep and should then be OK. Close everything which was open and then try the alarm.
  12. I've been quote £600 to get the paint sorted which isn't too bad. The clocks not working is a bit of a worry.
  13. Nice work. You can't beat fresh paint.
  14. The V6 is smoother and more pleasing to the ear IMHO
  15. It would be too good to break, although I expect it would be worth more in parts.
  16. He's been offered £500 from someone who can't get the cash together and I think I could get him down to that sort of money if I waved the money under his nose. It has FSH but he can't find it at the moment. I have asked him to give me a call if he can find it. It also has a Clifford alarm.
  17. I was just getting back into my C today when a guy came up to me and asked if I wanted any spares. Turns out his mate is selling his K plate valver after a year as he doesn't like Corrados  Turns out the Guy works for VW and wants to get shot ASAP. It has been serviced a main dealers for the past 3 years has 120k on it and drives well having taken it for a spin. The paint on both sides is shot and the drivers seat is tired, however the front end has been respayed, again at a main dealers, Sunroof is knacked and the clocks don't work otherwise it's solid with no rot or nasty noises. Even has four new tyres on the estorils which have been polished and it's MOT'd till Oct. What do you think it's worth?
  18. I remember seeing a beemer in South Africa which shot out flames which were activated as part of the alarm proximetery sensor 8)
  19. Managed to get to 9 before getting dealt with a Focus
  20. Not sure if I've missed something, but is there an easy way to remove the bonnet stay?
  21. Some dealers will give you a 10% discount if you belong to a VAG related owners club. There's no harm in asking. Peter Cooper in Porstsmouth have always been good to me.
  22. Mine is the same. The normal running temp really dropped when I put in a new rad.
