Ok folk's does anyone know the best way to clean the inside of glass sunroof it is the dimply one.I was thinking of possibly a steamer have also heard somewhere that white vinegar is good for the job anyone got any suggestion's. Any help is much appreciated :help:
-
Don't tell me anymore mate  I had an inkling myself that it had been sat not to worry as it is solid all original from what we have been able to gather next job is sunroof I have a replacement one and brand new seal (these are obselete now) the one in just now is scratched probably from when they were doing the respray have got new door seal's coming then it will be time for the interior. You can just see in one of the photo's 2008 the respray was done. Not just TPS he got alot of stuff from Peter Cooper and Colborne's there is getting on for £30k in receipt's :shocked!:
-
Like I said it wasn't me who paid the £7.5k so it doesn't bother me didn't know it had had issues like that though everything else is pretty much spot on engine run's sweet a couple of little thing's to do Stoney spent an absolute fortune on this car everything all new and all from the dealer's i mean everything.
-
Don't be silly Sean I am thick skinned and it wasn't me who forked out the £7.5k it was Stoney who Baron bought it off just trying to upload a couple of pic's but not working. There you go there is a pile of receipt's with this car.

He was most certainly ripped off Overall it is a good spray job the prep was very poor to be honest but it doesn't look it's best yet but then to be honest I prefer it the way it is if it was immaculate i would be worried all the time I said it at the start it is not a show car and never will be a show car but it's Bl**dy Quick.

Not in the slightest Bill praise where praise is due and it is well deserved here. :notworthy:
-
Very nice Thank's.
-
The spray on mine was £7.5k and it's not concourse.
-
Ditto.

Looking very sweet Bill some quality upgrades of obvious quality Scottish taste really like the BBS wheel where did you find one in such good condition? (It's not a fake is it?) Or have you had it retrimmed? Up there with the best mate no doubt I know I parked in between two of them at Stanford (Chris L and Goldie)

Totally agree with what your saying but having been done over myself in the past (not by a bodyshop) a well run business can easily get the sundries you are talking about on account so there is really no need to take any money as they have your car if at the end of the process you are refusing to pay for whatever reason you can refuse to release the car if the customer then turn's round saying they will get the police involved ideal as you can then inform them you have done agreed work which is being refuted. The way you look at it is the most common senseical approach but there are people who want not only the running/driving/stopping well but also looking as good as possible if that is how someone want's to spend their money at the end of the day mate car's cost money full stop obviously depending on alot of thing's how much is a personal thing. If Jim feel's a respray is needed then it is totally down to him but he could certainly see better value doing it that way as opposed to buying another car and the associated running cost's of that car compared to the running cost's of a rado for a couple of year's
