would you consider a corrado a classic turned away at car show

Look's like you picked the wrong forum to try and belittle one of our member's. I'm sure other's will agree that your opinion mean's nada and to say that Ross k was ranting was a little wide of the mark. So if you don't mind keeping them to yourself I'm sure that would be the best course of action. :thumbleft: -
Well we have got to the bottom of the shredded power steering belt it look's like it might be another bodge job so your not the only one Sean :) The original diagnosis was the tensioner pulley so a new tensioner and belt was fitted upon start up my mechanic could hear it was rubbing on further inspection it was rubbing on the crank pulley because we assume it is the original G60 pump was pulling it out of alignment some washer's had been fitted to try and remedy it but not enough. So until I get confirmation that an R32 pump can be used the pump has been ground sensibly to allow enough room for a couple of extra washer's to be fitted only a temporary fix. Kev can you let me know if you used the R32 pump or your original VR6 one and did you have to modify in any way shame you don't do show's you are one person I would like to have a look round mine:D

It was looking very good Kev he had put some cloth recaro's in and done some other bit's and bob's trimwise inside he was talking respray as well.I came across your thread on the DTA Forum the little tuning box you had was it from mef motorsport and did you sell it or do you still have it and what was it like to use. Will you be making a guest appearance at national day?

She is looking even sweeter after a bit of a detail there is more in the pipeline for next year though let's see what happen's. I mate we will I like the rare stuff hence why I bought a G60 in the first place then possibly even rarer R32 powered Ex G60 this is why your car intrigue's me uber rare G60 you are a lucky chap :thumbleft:

It will hopefully be all sorted tomorrow mate but this car is a mix and match of R32/VR6/G60 so we need to determine which one is required don't worry mate i will be there gave the car a detail with the new 3M gear and am quite pleased with the result's still some work to do but it has come back to life. Can't wait till next weekend

Well in apparently true corrado style I have come across a little niggle today which couldn't have came at a worse time week before national day.I was cleaning the front end/engine bay so had the headlight's out when i was replacing the driver's side something caught my eye on the belt at first i thought it was a bit of fluff from a rag or something on closer inspection it was actually part of the belt. The upshot of it is my mate is getting it off 2moro to try and determine which belt to use (correct size) At the moment national day is still very do-able have to see how thing's go tomorrow.I have told him to replace the tensioner bearing and anything else he feel's not happy with.
