Not so far off from the truth, or they are well clued up, as they then realise that until the marketing boffins at VW decided to rename the Mk3 Rocco to Corrado, it was called the Mk3 Rocco during its entire design stage. Tempest if someone called my corrado a sciroco they would be put right straight away bloody idiots :lol: -
But who is the judge of that? it only becomes fraud when you try and sell it on stating that its lower mileage than it really is,and i think i read somewhere that it only applies to traders,thats why they put stickers on the clocks saying they cant verify the mileage is true

its just the price around £10 for the peter russek or £80 ish for the bently :lol: ,i know which id rather have in the garage getting covered in oil and grease

if its just the engine advice you want then i would go for the peter russek one,its small but to the point,theres someone on here selling some i think

should be ok,to fit shrick manifolds the plug leads have to go underneath..£100 is a good price to polish the manifold and rocker cover,i did my own and it realy is a horrible job and time consuming to do it right

do it yourself,ive just done my cam cover and inlet manifold using this kit http://www.frost.co.uk/item_Detail.asp?productID=8272 only took me a few hours

he hasnt said what size or width wheels hes going for,so if he lowered it,then bought the wheels he wants,then finds out they wont fit because its been lowered to much whats he going to do then ?

get the wheels first,then you can lower it,depending on wheel size/width

the bolts from the plastic one are different,as is the gasket,you should be able to get the bolts from the stealers,cant find the part numbers on etos but etka may have them

they changed from alloy to plastic around 1995,ive just changed my plastic one to polished alloy cover,there are no studs??just bolts

the reason why they are starting to use water based paints is due to new health and safety regulations,the old 2 pack paints give off isocyanide fumes,the level of finish is down the the painter rather than the paint
