the fronts are harder, they need to be pressed in/out,you can smack them out with a hammer and drift but you risk damaging the hub

splitting, cleaning and resealing dirty inpro FK tail lights
dazzyvr6 replied to bristolbaron's topic in Exterior
did yours go green and things started growing out of them phil? -
on the one i removed, there was a plug by the glove box, then the remainder of the loom went around the dash following the rear window demister switch etc..then into the fuse box,and to be honest it was a right pig to remove
-
try leaving the car in gear and rock the car backwards and forwards, the starter could be jammed,or clack it with a hammer, although theres feck all room to do that on a VR6
-
that is truely shocking, and they even tried to hide the damage,id be straight back down there..and you should name and shame so other people can avoid them
-
i started off with fords but always wanted a mk2 golf gti 16v,then i eventually got one, then i originally wanted a G60 corrado, but they were hard to find locally but a VR6 came up for sale, test drove it and had to have it

halfords...lol

the only way to check that the chassis is not damaged is to take it to a body shop and ask them to put it on a jig,but it might cost you a bit as i know some body shops have to hire jigs now as so many cars get written off straight away and not repaired like they used to,or you could do a diy job and get someone you know with another corrado and take measurments from key points and compare them with the other corrado
