  1. ive got some MB QUARTZ tweeters,sounded good,but they are now making way for the lotus seas components i bought
  2. if you take out the air vent and headlight switch etc,you will see awhat looks like a brass ring with connectors on it,there should be 3 wires attatched to it,yesterday i knocked off an earth wire and the car wouldnt start off the ignition switch,but i could start it from under the bonnet

  4. have you done anything to the speaker wiring lately,mainly around the drivers side tweeter?
  5. they look easy to remove,try hammering a slightly smaller socket over the top of it,thats if you cant find anyone with the same locking bolts as yours
  6. today i dyna matted my drivers door and fitted my audioscape door pod with seas speaker,and broke my passenger side door handle had to fit one from an early corrado from the scrapyard..and booked the car in for an mot on monday

When fixed can be re-registered as damaged repaired. o Category F: Vehicle damaged by fire and insurer has decided not to repair. When fixed can be re-registered as damaged repaired.
  9. it depend what category its classed in,if its just stolen recovered with no major damage then i think its catD,which isnt to bad really
  10. mine did this last week,it was working ok but stopped working after i took them out,realised then that nob head here put the wrong needle on,i put the speedo one on the rev counter and rev counter needle on the speedo..the speedo needle is slightly longer and was catching on the plastic dash surround :oops:
  11. i just bought a rear one from euro car parts for £81.69,genuine part as well
  12. they will check that the light goes out after a few seconds,if it comes back on then they should fail it,it could be a dirty sensor,give them all a clean and see what happens
  13. i was going to say ignition switch,or a damaged wire between the switch and solenoid
  14. you can get 3.0 pistons from eip for £600,if you source all the parts yourself and get someone on here to rebuild it for you then it wont cost tooo much
  15. vwdeviant, what colour is your car,i find that certain after market indicators only suit certain corrado colours,ive had red,clear,smoked on my red c,but still not happy with the colour
  16. this is what ive had of RW1 Firstly, fault 00532 is not being caused by the disconnection of the battery. The ABS ECU is fairly dumb and just looses it’s memory faults and re-powers itself without question.

  18. yep it will fit,places like demon tweeks will have them on the shelfs

  20. putting the engine in is the easiest part,its the wiring etc thats the most time consuming part
  21. you have got the phirm quite close failing that stealth isnt to far away
  22. plug oils up,miss fires then burns off..no miss fire,mine did it all the time
  23. ive now got VAG-COM 16 pin & 2x2 adaptor,i can cover wrexham,chester and parts of north wales
