9a pulley fits straight on the noise reduction is simply glorious!!!! You can put a solid water pump pulley Part.no. V027 121 031 on any 4 cyl engine, it works and I've had no problems in 2 years on my KR 8) Edit: Thinking about it I have had some squeakings recently, and I've just realised i hadn't read the previous post correctly - got me going now. I think I stitched meself up....... :gag:

You have the Manual?

That's a superb find, especially if you're happy to do it yourself!! Top work! 8)

Could just be the locking mech is sticky, lashings of WD40 or similar and some excercising may help. You can undo the two big bolts holding the lock to the door and partially remove it enough to get a good squirt in there.

I was gonna say I just ordered a 90amp alternator through B&B Components in Maidstone and all I had to do was swap the pulley.

Extreme +80% H4s and Nightbreaker +90% H3s, award winners in Autotest at the time. Very pleased, have an old upgraded loom and recently fitted Lamin-X in the Optic Blue flavour which really whitens the light output further 8) 8) 8) -

Modding late sunroof motor to fit early frame
colinstubbs replied to colinstubbs's topic in Exterior
I'll add it to my list!! I'll need to run it through in my head a few times to make sure I don't miss anything!! -
Can he trust the gauge????? I seem to get about a 10 deg difference between Coolant (lower) and Oil (higher) temps. Does sound like a problem though.

Which lamin-x colour to match tinted light covers
colinstubbs replied to ANDREW 30's topic in Exterior
It's a legal and above board, there are regulations for tinting which this stuff meets, but I've gone for the blue on the headlamps (which still looks a bit weird  ) because it really does improve the colour for night driving 8) 8) -
Modding late sunroof motor to fit early frame

I never did confirm it but this all worked a treat and still does!! 8) -
Yeah the later sunny switch etc is a good one to change, you can do it with just a late motor and cover/switch/light unit and loom but you have to chop the motor a bit or go the whole late roof assembly. I've had no roof issues so just chopped the motor, still works a treat - can put up some pics later if you like or i'll find my old thread! Edit HERE it is 8) Edit: You'll also need a later bit of trim to go around the sunroof aperture as the motor cover is a slightly different design - see below! Late cover - early trim!
