chrishill 0 Posted April 28, 2005 looks good mate! as for what it is... well its a 92 and has the early interior with a late bonnet, since your sig quotes lots of turbo related names, i'm guessing its not a g60, and with the late bonnet it may well hide a vr6-T (unless thats a red herring as was done for looks!) saying that with the conversions going on at the moment it could be just about anything!! ok...has it got a turbo'd chevvy big-block?
Joe M 0 Posted April 28, 2005 Still a 4 cylinder, JMR engine mounts quoted, John Mitchell does a solid front mount for the 4 cylinder cars. Still waiting for the vr6 one.
chrishill 0 Posted April 28, 2005 well spotted! come on guys with a bit of detective work we can figure this one out! turbo'd valver?
Joe M 0 Posted April 28, 2005 I reckon its still a g60, check out the wanted ad: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight= Im pretty sure Struan sold his white g60 so would likely be for this car. So probably a g60, last one was a lot of top end power but in an earlier post struan mentions how torquey the car is, so I reckon its a similar spec to Hennys with the larger capacity. W3RKD 0 Posted April 29, 2005 i wish i could play this guessing game but that would be cheating i supose.. 1 thing though struan, what have you done with the awesome porsche interior that was in the car when you brought it ? and are they just winter wheels ? Henny 0 Posted April 29, 2005 "312mm Seat Cupra Brembo brakes" Huh? What are they off then? The Ibiza ones are 305mm and the Leon ones are 325mm... :| Flywheel by RPM... anything else done by them? (great company 8) ) Looks nice mate... 8)
Bally 0 Posted April 29, 2005 Im sure he sold the porka trim to Peter.. what size is the MOMO wheel? 300mm?? defo stands out.. bet it'll be a beast once yr done with it..
BigTartanJudge 0 Posted April 29, 2005 Cheers guys, Engine will be revealed soon :D Sorry, my mistake, the Brembo's I have are 305 mm, oops ! Yeah, the Porsche front seats and retrimmed rear bench went to PeterMunns a while back and prefer this other interior to it from a comfort point of view. Just need to get it retrimmed now...... hmmmnn RPM might have done a few other bits. The wheels are very rare 7.5 x 16" 2-pc Borbet B splits (try and find another set) which will be my day-to-day wheels. They will be refurbed soon and plan on getting them fully polished up 8) The MOMO wheel is 280 mm and just a tad on the small side for sensible driving, nice for shows tho' ! Will keep ya'll updated, Cheers
W3RKD 0 Posted April 29, 2005 Flywheel by RPM... anything else done by them? (great company 8) ) what happened to the flywheel we supplyed you then ? did you not use it ?
